Hmmm - Gravity!

Are you thinking of mounting an SAS style mission?

An easier suggestion would be to go www.chainreactioncycles.com and get them to do the mission. You just have to pay the mercenaries. But they are Irish  , so the job will get done!

Just remember that XTR 960 has funny bolt pattern dimensions:

62 / 102 / 146.

Middleburn have.

manBearpig, apparently the XT ones are 2 mm different so you have to file the holes a bit, it is my current best plan, i was just wondering if there is a better idea.

@ Drongo ja, i am weighing up the options between that and the above.

Gravity

Those who enlarge holes with files, fix bikes with hammers.

As your options are now limited, support the Irish.

Otherwise I shall be flagging your name under rule:

6 - Do not buy secondhand parts from THIS Hubber.

You do make a valid point.....does the same apply with drilling my own holes?

Apparently you get Truvativ rings that will work, does anyone know the validity of this?

Blackspire also do for M960 but they will probably cost you more than Middleburn.

Not sure about Truvativ. Check under technical on the SRAM website. At least you may be able to get those here if you are rabidly anti-Irish.

Just remember sick sizes!

Drilling your own holes does not increase the BCD, it simply increases the size of the hole. Which will mean that you will need chainring bolts with a larger flange.

Hence the file. The hole then becomes ovate, which means you will likely get misalignment etc, etc.

Kinda Bushy!

haha, ja- i was joking about the drilling....someone should really invent a sarcasm font.

I will get middleburn one from CRC.

Thanks for your input.
