Ok, so i went shopping.

 

Bought one for me, and one for the wife.

 

These are going to be used as weekend cruiser style bikes to take my little son out in the nice sunshine.

 

Long lazy rides.

 

Bought the little guy a tiny bell helmet. its so cute.

Never heard of Titan(?)before.

 

Where did you get them and what were they going for?

No not a rip off, well specced, well priced bike those titans so not a rip off.

 

Got hydros and alles

 

Realy good bikes at a good price

I think its important to consider what they will be used for.

 

i see no point in spending R20K on a top end bike and then fitting it with a kiddies seat.

 

Come on okes...get real. these bikes are never going to see single track , or fly down a mountain. they are going to be used for slowly and safely taking my family to a lake on a weekend and pedalling around nice and relaxed.

 

The thing is, that i also want something reliable - not a Game/Dions piece of rubbish that will break every five minutes.

 

I challenge anyone to find me a better specced bike NEW in that price range. (not more than R4k.)

 

And for those that still want to shoot them down - where were you a few weeks ago when i asked everyones opinion in the "buyers guide" section of the hub, and had almost no feedback - now all of a sudden, everyones an expert.

I dont think these are bad at all I like the geometry it looks really laid back.
