  1. There, fixed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bespoke
  2. I've used FSA cranks for years. I don't go the torque wrench route, and I've been running them without a single hassle ever, doing jumps, drops etc. What I do is tighten the spindle bolt until the crank is perfect ie no play and spinning freely. Then I tighten the side bolts on the crank arm until it's locked in place at that point, then I nip the spindle bolt tight. Sometimes I've used a drop of loctite on the spindle bolt as well. Never had an issue. Hope this helps you.
  3. You should always check your settings and pressure after a service. They need to range through all of the functions to test.
  4. This is the only forum I've seen that would allow a thread like this to firstly exist, and then allow it to degenerate into a religious battle. Pretty shameless if you ask me. Basically it's boils down to poor moderating. I thought the 'Rant Rave' section was about cycling related issues. Matters of religious views, political view, sexual orientation etc are personal and while it's fun to carry on about this, there are many people who I'd bet are offended about this.
  5. How about getting your product into shops first? Just a thought
  6. hehe, didnt he paint a picture of Helen Zille IIRC?
  7. Oh get over yourself already dude. NOBODY cares about your sexual orientation, or anybody elses. When I'm out on the trail I'm not worried about anything other than being hijacked at the top of the hill. Here's the problem.....straight people just get on with life, they are the majority. Minority groups feel the need to 'prove' their worth or something. Nobody cares man. Just get on with your life, ride your bike, do whatever you want to. I promise you nobody is judging you. But let me tell you this, if you pinch my ass in the toilets at a bar you WILL get a PK. That's goes the same for the bloke who pinches my wife's ass. Respect. That's what it all boils down to.

    Is this you

So much anger and hate these days. From Seth continually attacking cyclists with his blog, people in the comments there wanting to punch his face...Seth's 'vibe' is personal. I think it's because of the cycling pants and shaved legs and how it affects his manhood. Driving his Mini around to Caprice must be so painful for him. We all share the roads, and nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes and I see the point that cyclist slip through robots when it's safe. It's a mission to unclip, wait, clip back in, get going again. It ruins the flow. Sure it's dangerous and against the rules but who cares. Let the traffic cops sort that out. Who is Seth to do this to this poor guy? Oh I forget, he's mister perfect, never puts a foot wrong, except when it comes to using his cellphone while driving, smoking weed and I bet he ALWAYS takes a taxi home after he's been schmoozing at Camps bay?
  9. I use mine all the time. Running a Marzo 55 with 6.5" travel. When locked out I have the 'TST' set to let big knocks through, but still allows me to stand and pedal hard. I use it on hills, road sections, smooth trails or if I'm jumping a lot. I only flip it off when I'm in rough stuff. Personally I love it and need a fork to have it.
  10. If you don't like getting SMS's why not just say so in your ad? Easier than whining about it.
  11. Great Thanks for your input here. Would you say Teflon grease, or copper slip then?
  12. Thanks for the answers everybody. Where does one get copper slip from?
  13. What about Loctite?
  14. A question for the tech heads out there. Do you grease the splines on a crankshaft before installing the cranks or not, and why? I can't seem to find a conclusive answer to this. http://www.hostelshoppe.com/images/products/la_08fsa_isisbb.jpg http://i36.tinypic.com/24n1rn9.jpg
  15. Repeat from above. His apology is accepted. Thanks
  16. Advertising is the standard way Forums generate revenue. Spamming members is unethical, and I've never seen the likes of this. He's quite entitled to make money from his site, but not in this way. It's a precedent not worth setting. What if all forums did this, with whatever they deemed relevant? Anyway, I've said my bit. Pardon for this late reply to this all. Only picked up the mail late this afternoon. I'll be redirecting TheHub's future comms to my junk mail account.
  17. Certainly. If Admin had seen a good deal, why not make a thread about it, just like everyone else would have. Why the need to send unsolicited SPAM? Seems to me that the forum was getting a kickback from Flook/Olympic Cycles/Eagle Canyon Cycles? That's how it looked to me at least. Consider the fact that many people here are not in these regions either. Just to be clear, I accept Admin's apology. People make mistakes. I trust this sort of unethical behaviour will not persist. I'm a member of several forums and this is a first for me. I'd appreciate if you could confirm if "Cptmayhem's post earlier is acceptable on your forum.
  18. Any moderators here? Is this person's tone acceptable? Certainly can't be allowed to swear like this.
  19. I have to wonder what's in it for you though? Sending unsolicited emails to board members like this is highly unethical. Having a look at Flook's site shows further dishonesty on their part seeing that they say "No Spam, We promise!". This is Spam, plain and simple. Apologies aside, you should know better.
