  2. Not such a fan of The Smiths. I was the designated Dave last night and the dronkies were blasting them so it's sort of stuck
  3. Felt like some Ska today. Was in a rush to get out the house so I just grabbed some albums and left. Pleased that I got some Glowskulls. https://youtu.be/Gtoaf_8vvaI Not wild about streetlight Manifesto but it fits the mood. And then the on and only Fuzigish.

  6. Any of you guys built your own wooden landing nets? The bloke who fixed my stick recently is making them. Just wondered if any of you have attempted this craft? I'm quite keen to give it a crack as a winter project. The blokes work is phenomenal. I ended up spending quite some time marveling at some gorgeous 1wt Orvis blanks that he's currently busy with.
  7. You're missing the point and pushing an agenda that has no relevance to my post. The post has sweet f'all to do with the music. Punk rock is an expression of a greater culture/movement. Use Blondie as an example. Deborah Harry was a punk. There is no denying that but, Blondie' sound is a mix of disco, pop, reggae and rap.
  8. Punk rock girls. GIRLS NOT BANDS! She was a punk through and through and it shows to this day. “I ******* loathe the Grammys with a vengeance,” she said. “The whole idea of it, I don’t understand it, I don’t respect it, I don’t get it at all. I think it’s bull****.” Nor was she flattered to be inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. “I call it the Rock and Roll Hall of ****,” she says. “It’s everything that rock’n’roll isn’t. It sort of desecrates the name of rock’n’roll.”
  9. Well spotted. Siouxsie Sioux-Siouxsie and the Banshees, Viv Albertine-Slits, Debbie Harry-Blondie, Pauline Black-Selecter, Poly Styrene-X-Ray Spex and Chrissie Hynde-Pretenders. Way cool bunch of REAL punk rock girls
