  2. Girl, running is the bane of my life too. But, I have (very slowly) started to enjoy it- but only slightly. I would swim and cycle my whole tri if I could. I think the hill sessions that fanievb suggested would be a good way to go.

  4. I am with you 100% I have been thinking the same thing. I suffer from migraines which leave me unable to exercise or function for 3 days (on average). Trying to keep up with my 900 point weekly goal is near impossible if I have a migraine. But it is possible that the reason they do this is because they know that not everyone can maintain the points and so they don't have to reimburse as much.

  6. Just be careful with your fruit intake. Fruit, although it has lots of fibre, has got a fair amount of sugar in it (the good sugar). Too much fruit may spike your blood sugar, which will make you feel tired later on. Add some veg or nuts

  9. You can try silvermine. I am not aware of any groups that swim during the week, so you will have to do a swim by yourself in the sea

  13. Someone is fortunate Work on your core muscles. Not the superficial ones, but the deep ones that are near the spine. After a few core training sessions, your backache should ease.

  17. Is it me, or is the discovery website having issues? Everytime I log in, there is a new issue. Yesterday, I logged in and I "hadn't activated" my healthygear (I have). Then when going to activate it, I was ineligible to activate it. I have yet to see if this has been resolved. Next came healthycare (which has been activated). Another issue that crops up is that it says I have hit my yearly limit for vitality fitness points. I am nowhere near my limit. I managed to workout my fitness points for the year and I have less than 10 000 points (you are capped at 30 000). And, I am also waiting for my fitness assessment points

  19. A bit off topic, but I am hoping someone has an answer for me. I did the duathlon on 12/2. I haven't received any results yet. Am I supposed to check a website or something. The only thing said about the results is that they would be available online as soon as possible. No indication of where. Has anyone done this year's duathlon and received results?

  21. Go to youtube and look up triathlon taren. He gives some very good advice about triathlons. I found his swimming videos very informative and he also draws on his own experience
