I feel a bit for GvA. He tried his level best to get away on one of the climbs yesterday. Lasted for only a few seconds. A few years back he was much, much stronger relative to the avg guy in the bunch. Now he is the avg guy in the bunch. MANY, MANY riders much stronger than him.

Priceless!! Well done on a stunning converrsion. Tissot makes a range of beautiful pocket watches, but I can't find a practical way to carry/wear it, a jean pant pocket seems so wrong. So sad since the design of a pocket watch absolutely appeals to me!!

Don't know the area at all. But most medium end watch shops stocks Tissot, so they should be able to help. I take mine to a high end shop in Bedfordview (Shermer) that only stock Tag and up, no Tissot. They are extremely helpful to send it to Tissot.

I'm not a skilled as you are!!! So I only change the battery on my Polar - all other watches I leave to the watchmakers I think a service is a good idea - they normally change out all the fine o-rings, seals, etc, etc to make sure it is water proof.

I have a small Tissot collection.... I would suggest to get it changed at a shop that stocks Tissot. Some (cheaper) shops does not know how to close the back properly. Higher end shops will send it to Tissot JHB to get the battery replaced and then you also get a "mini service". It will set you back about R700. Which is quite expensive for a battery. The upside to this option is that they return the watch in a little Tissot watch case, which is very nice and handy!!

Wonder what Nino is thinking now? MVDP's attack in Siena is the exact same attack he used on Nino I think 2 year's back in a WC race - VDP won of course. VDP is now 2 years stronger.... and Nino.... I can't wait for the WC events.

Sealant works perfectly for those "slow punctures" Saved me a ton of money in tubes over the years.

Giant also had some great options in this size, but became very scarce last year.

Ideally you need to core to be removeable. I've successfully added sealant into road tubes with a non removable core.

Where do I find the details to this? Does it run off data?
