  1. Same here!! Incredible talent!!!
  2. I see this turn (a real fast left hander) is still covered in the gravel and large stones. Perhaps they will fix tonight??
  3. Great pics showing the hazards. DANKIE!!!
  4. Frosty Are we coming back via ERPM again? Must be close you your last circle?
  5. A Giant Revolt might be a good option...
  6. They can only jump ship just before we hit the Mineshaft....
  7. An exceptional and very impressive result. This season is going to be a humdinger!!
  8. She had a stunning race. I think her best ever?
  9. I'm planning to buy the single sided version - see no reason for dual system, apart from having more data that I don't need.
  10. That is great info!!!! I was wondering abt the battery availability. Takealot or something more challenging?
  11. I'm confused, they were only released last year? DC Rainmaker's review was March '21, but thx for the feedback 🙂
  12. I assume you used your Garmin's for 100% of your training/races rides? so did you get less than the 120 hrs?
  13. Both, but primarily on my gravel bike
  14. Evening Hubbers... I'm close to pull the trigger as a "from me...to me..." on these. Good reviews out there (DC Rainmaker, etc), but looking for longer term input. It also seems the one sided option is good enough. The data from dual side, is interesting, but not really useful in a practical sense. Let the comments roll in!!! PS, will use this paired to a Forerunner 735XT.....perhaps an Epix Gen2 later.
  15. If I close my eyes I hear "marketing talk"...
  16. Lots of regular Hubbers in BL it seems. cool!!
  17. Nice video and analysis Eugene!!! Lekker that I featured at the start of your vid. Was part of the Germiston Wheelers gang. Yes. much better to sit at the front, easier and safer!!! VUKANI, they have no idea on how to handle their bikes in a race, but they are pretty strong. I also had a few choice discussions during the race to get them to ride in a safe manner...
  18. I must have been in a different race then. Great weather BUT I suffered like a dog!!! Luckily no mishaps!!! Apart from the cone incident and me losing my chip in the process. So if someone spotted an orange Racetec chip about 4km from the finish, please drop me a pm.
  19. Good info to have!!!! Can you please detail your training sessions - how many hrs total? I need a comparison to my 735XT. But also need to understand if the batttery will last for endurance events such as 360One/Transbaviaans/400km Audax.
  20. I've owed an Assos bib that I got at a bargain price since it was black/yellow combo. Died an early death after a fall. Was comfy... BUT vs the normal Italian options and some good old local bibs, I doubt that they are worth the price premium. I still wear Anatomic's/Satini/Nalini that are >10 years old. Chamois are still good, some colour fade but no cheek peeking... I ride about 400 hrs annually.
  21. Thanks JZ, you just made up my mind for me!!!
  22. Get the Solar, great watch!!!
  23. I've found you don't need anything except water for up to 2h45min of LSD - tempo riding. This assumes a normal balanced diet, normal meal intervals.
  24. Actually Craai and TheoG is upset....choose your words better.....😄
  25. Want to do Bedoin... I have a great base, so if I drop the needed 5kg, I'll be just fine with the rental bikes which have lekker low gears (34x32). I normally ride 39x27 on the longer/steeper climbs. The 20km distance is my only worry - seems like a 2hr effort. This will be 30min longer than Swartberg Pass. But also more climbing!!
