I remember being a younger in CT - rode towards the Strand against the S Easter to go and visit my Ouma, when I was unlucky, the wind would have turned N West by the time I head home. **** that was hard - switch off brain, and HTFU.

Belgian beers are the best!! Leffe Blonde is my fav., but difficult to find nowadays. So either a Stella, Peroni or Corona for me.

I was wondering if you noticed :-). Nope, been away too many weekends, so I'm going to church for a change. Just BTW, Go and do a few intervals, from say 20 kph up to 45 kph, and experiment with light vs heavy, aero vs a brick. I'll take the lighter bike....any time of day.

Nope, I was in a Complete Cyclist bib with a White Nalini top and black nalini Windjammer. Bike a Black/White/Blue Giant TCR Adv ISP. Changes to a Red/White/Black nalini top for St 2.

Great race day, but registration was a challenge. Was seeded in DL and after complaining mildly, I got (deservedly) bumped to AL. Then got a XXL shirt - complained bitterly, and they magically found my size. Oh, and was not impressed by the road surface on the Brondal section!!

Hey Patch. Was also in AL. Saw 2 VA riders in our bunch, one being in the Blue/White Northcliff kit. Was a good ride. I had a super nice race, apart from have a puncture on the Brondal road whilst I was pulling the break - lost 8 min :-( Was actually expecting the AL bunch to be much stronger than what they were. I would guess winter is playing havoc with everyone' training.

So, was the increase in entry fee worth it for everyone? I just completed an ASG post race survey. Hope they take the recommendations to heart.

Snap!! So I've entered for the CP..... So I stand the off chase of getting tested...... And the off chance of being positive.... AND then being labelled a cheat. Maybe I can escape being burnt at the stake. Which means that I can return to being a fun rider at the age of 50. Eish!!!
