Glad to report that I could improve my bike mechanic skills this weekend. I promise that the following is true!!!!!!!!!!!! While on my training ride on Sunday I helped Shimano 1 by trying to fix her Sti that could not go from big ring to small ring or small to big! All in vain since it was stripped to pieces. (Brand new 105). Shimano 2 came about 15 minutes later and guess what a Sti that did not want to shift the front ring, also stripped. Maybe its the shimano riders that has incredibly strong fingers. (Ultegra) Shimano 3 = Training buddy and by this time it was actually very funny as his Sti did not want to change from the big ring to the smaller one, (Ultegra) maybe he did it to get some extra training in as I was not allowed to look at the problem. Was called this morning to be informed that some gadget mathingy was stripped. This posting is not done with any malicious attempt to discredit Shimano but would be hilarious to any Campag fanatic.

If you guys need help in any way please just ask. I volunteer to be a volunteer!!

Thought it was fun and me bum is still vibrating from al daai graspolle!!! Thought the marhalls did a great job!! The part I did not like was riding into oncoming traffic as the path was very narrow and if you had to clip one of those lamp poles with your handlebars you could just meet a car head on! Remember people this isses the east rand so dont expect Sani to Sea views.

Laughed when I read this post as I wanted to post a very similar post, was riding on Sunday on Atlas Road in Boksburg and saw this Karate Attie with his Barloworld Kit, no it was not Anton as all has given up on him ten years ago. This oke had enough tatoos on his arms to confuse the living sh*t out of chameleon. Still think your an idiot when riding without a helmet, but thats only my opinion, still have one after a crash or two thanks to my helmet.

Yup time to leave. My brother has also packed up and is ready to go to Oz. Has a three year old daughter that cannot be exposed to all the sh*t happening in the country. Ok here it goes!!! Polar started fogging up and as I was 1300km away from Polar and I really enjoy seeing my Heart rate escalate while climbing Robinsons pass I attempted opening the back cover of the Cs 200 with a coin thats to small, drying it with a hairdryer thats too hot and a temper to match = polar buggered. Was already planning on buying a new monitor!!! Was honest with Polar about what happened and they fixed it for free. Well done!!!!

As Kritzie did not miss any rocks or water while cycling this holiday his Polar gave up the ghost!!!!(Especially after going down river after bridge that was there the day before mysteriously disappeared). Ok I was dodging Elephants and having severe sore legs thanks to Nellie (Jou Yster) my brain wasnt functioning so lekka!! Time to repair Polar myself. ======= Big Balls up!!!!!! Handed it in at Polar last week (Thanks wifey) and awaiting a huge bill of repairs I was pleasantly surprised to recieve it back with new casing and repaired for boggerol money owed to them! Thanks Polar and Tanya for your brilliant service!! Nice to see some companies still think about their customers. Will be glad to endorse your product when I become a proffesional Grand Master!
