    Creepy!

Daai was my die weirdste dag ooit!

    Creepy!

I believe it's all in the mind. Would you still have been "uncomfortable" if you didn't know about the death? If I go one day [i want to die by stopping next to a truck with gas tanks on and then everything explodes!] I'm NOT comming back to haunt everyone! I'll either be cycling in the "green fields" of heaven or burning rubber down below, but I'm NOT comming back to haunt you suckers!

    Creepy!

How about having the tune of X-Files starting to play randomly while driving?! A buddy and I were on our way from CT back to Worcester about 02:00 one morning. We went "over the mountain" and just before we came to that short tunnel I told him about the guy who died in his seat. He later confessed that he was scared $hitless in the tunnel and kept on thinking that "someone" was sitting on the back seat. Edit: I have a car for sale. Excellent condition except for flooring on the front passenger side. Aircon not working, but that's OK. The car is usually "chilly".controlc2008-03-19 01:52:38

    Creepy!

I'm not sure about the smell. My dad bought the car from this dude's family about ten years ago, I bought it from him a couple of years later. The flooring is still "missing", but the rubber floor mat covers it all. I had all the seats redone about 5 years ago, but I don't recall any "marks" on them. People usually get freaked out when we drive at night and I say: "O, BTW, someone died in your seat!"

    Creepy!

I do. The previous owner gassed himself in the car [front passenger side]. They had to cut out a piece of the flooring, 'cause they couldn't remove all the "goo". I have no problem with it.

    Creepy!

Sorry' date=' but LOL! I can just imagine walking to the pool and seeing someone floating in it! As long as he don't cross MY lane! [it beats working at a client and seeing their dog floating in the pool...]
  8. And I thought this thread was about a new suspension fork made by Diesel...
  9. Updated the xls file. It's now 300kB larger [zipped]. Guess I missed a lot of results! The "4:59 up to 5:03" times are fixed as well.
  10. It's possible if you commit to your training. I've been off the bike for just over five years, then I started training "mildly". I did 5h training MAX a week [and skipped a lot of weeks! :-)] and still managed to do a 4h Burger and then a 3h40 Argus. My goal is also to do a 3h Argus next year, but like Pilks said, it's all about seeding. I used to do an easy 3h20 while in J group, while I SUFFERED my 3h40 from Y group. I'll be starting my "serious" training from June. Until then I'm going to do medium rides once a week and a lot of cross training. Good luck!
  11. Ditto! And add to that the people who don't know their "know" and "now" 's
  12. Check out this link !! https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=23475&PN=1
  13. Hmmm. Perhaps I should have a look at that.... Is it possible to view club membership online? If not, perhaps we should create our own database, then I can extract data per club while downloading it. Just a thought...
  14. Click on the link I provided earlier. The file is there' date=' it's just not listed [yet']. I'm sitting at a client and I can't access my ftp site to add the 2008 argus to the list. As for the missing times: I'll re-download them when I get back in office or back home. What happens is that while I'm downloading page nr xxx, WT updates their times and results start moving between pages. When WT has finished updating everything, I'll re-download everything again. OT: It's gonna be a loooong day. My client's exchange server popped a motherboard. If I'm lucky I'll get some sleep tonight!
  15. Argus 2008 results in xls format available at http://www.controlc.za.net/racetime/Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour 2008.zip PM me if you find any mistakes, there might be a couple of bugs.
  16. I'm on my way to Grabouw, will be offline for about an hour. I've downloaded everything, but some of the results were "damaged", seeing that WT changed results WHILE I was downloading them. I've restarted the download last night, there's still +-10 pages to do. Once I get in Grabouw everything should be done. Check back in about 1h30, it should be done by then.
  17. A lot of people [including me!] want the results in xls format to do processing on [for whatever reason. ie some clubs want it to easily compare club members' results offline] I can download all the data using the person's name, but then I need to know everyone's name! The current database structure used on the Race Administration Systems' site is, well, patheticly slow [especially for races with large amounts of entrants]. Most sql querries time out. I'm currently at just over 5% downloaded & processed. Seems that there is currently less traffic on the wt site
  18. update: The scripts managed to download and process 2% of the results Hopefully everything will be downloaded and ready to put in xls format by tommorow morning.
  19. The wt site is still timing out when you try and view results page-by-page. If I can't download the data this afternoon, I'll set the scripts to try downloading during the night.
  20. :-) I was busy running the scripts, but it bailed out at page # 2. Now I can't access the site. I'll post the xls file here as soon as I can download everything
  21. Why can't Race Administration Systems speed up their site? It's dead atm [guess everybody's trying to see their results!]
  22. Sorry to hear that. Did the guy stop to see if you're ok?
