Although they have some better results of late, with Valgren , Nizollo and Amanuel. Reini also looking good. But I will be glad if Cav is no more part of the set up.

I would think they will take Nizollo again , his form not to bad, and he did not finish the Tour. Climber I feel confident Amanuel G, will be there maybe LM as wll with JJVR for support. Gasparotto can be there as well as Ryan Gibbons, so lets see, Most teams confirmed so should not be too long to wait. I hope Willie Smit also has a good tour.

I hope you are correct regarding him being on the up, If he and Ben O Connor part of Vuelta team they should be able to achieve something at the Vuelta according to me. Just a lack of racing in his legs this year , but you should no more so holding thumbs for a good end of season for him.

Vitality have different things it looks at. Steps is one, but also work outs where you get points depending on your heartrate and the time of exercise. Not sure which watches devices is accepted and which not. But sync and see if it will take it. I think there should be a list on Vitality app showing which devices when you want to sync your device.

Agree, They have a good Sprint train and options for stage victories wit RK being the guy to go for High GC placing if all goes well. Lets hope they surprise us all. They have selected the Three guys that supplied results recently, with Ben King and Valgren hopefully reaching good form in the Tour as well. I am just greatfull Cav was not selected.

Road Race still coming up , So the Boss can be in the National jersey yet. Lets see what Cav do at the British National, I guess that would be the last chance and if he wins then they will take him. They are perhaps waiting to see who wins any jersey before finalising team.

I also have a feeling they might do better than they have so far this year. My Feeling is more from the form of Reinhardt, Nizollo and Reinhardt rather than from Cav.. (He did not oce make the sprint in the Tour of Slovenia) I would also rather see Meintjies although I am not sure we will get better results in the mountains than Cav sprinting . I guess the naming of the team can not be far of so lets see if Doug will surprise or not.

I Hope Nizzolo goes to the TDF, Cav did not sprint once in this tour , I think He sprinted twice this year. Not sure who to support anymore. TDD not really a bright star, Proteas a lost cause, The Cheetahs no where in sight, May Bafana surprise as all and lift the Africa Cup.

Jip, Agreed but I was not a fan of Kudus as he would always fall away on the important stages. They indicated at the end of last year that it was to expensive to have so many African riders. DO not understand how that works but yes. LM is not going to make it with the way he has eaten his vegetables the last few years, so the African dream is gone for now. Amanuel Gabr.... Who did quite well in the end in the Giro is the next talent but has a way to go yet.

Not sure what you mean? Kudus showed a lot of promise and I guess still does but for me he has for TDD always performed well but always have one bad day in a Tour where he fall away, almost like Tejay. Maybe TDD should have focused him on the shorter tours. He however has faired better for Astana this year , but all in shorter Tours.

I agree that Cav seem to be nervous , if you look at this years races in the few times he was with the bunch I think he only sprinted once. The rest of the times he do not sprint due to various reasons. However he indicated once something along , "it looked dangerous but the younger guys did not seam to mind that". That confirmed it for me. It is not easy to get around that fear, not impossible but a few sprints to get himself right however he did not make the sprints of the last few races.

It has not been the worst few days for TDD this week. Eddy with a win and two top 10s and then Reinhardt got a third place yesterday as well. I think they can send quite a good TDF team for July. Would just like to have an on form climber in the team as well for GC. Lets see what King and LM do in Swiss this week.

I hope the fact that Ben O Connor has not been trying since week 2 also means he is going in place of LM to the Tour.

Yes saw him, the guy in the white, but unfortunately we did not go hard enough after the hill because we were about twenty after the hill and when we turned left to Bronkies we were about 50 again and he was back. A friend of Mine chain dropped on the top of the hill and he also came back to the bunch. Nobody wanted to pace after that hill, including me.
