  1. UDH is a frame standard. A UDH hanger will mount a conventional bolt on derailleur. It is not direct mount e.g. Transmission
  2. std mount compatible with UDH and pre UDH
  3. sound like you made way too many changes and now you have no baseline anylonger. Time to se a pro
  4. The flip chip in the rear dropout of the newer Giant Revolts makes a very compelling business case for a do it all allroader. In the short position with road tyres and gearing you could sub 3 the Argust. flip the long position, add 50c tyres and any gravel race can be added to your calendar. Tweener tyres will be ideal for Audax. I can't see how you can go wrong. I'm considering hanging up my road bike for a Cannondale SuperX because it can do almost everything so well but at the racier end of the spectrum
  5. The sliding around is likely compensation for some other unintended change in the bike set up. Could be anything and everything listed above include stance width (Q-Factor of crank - I assume you moved your pedals and shoes across from previous bike)
  6. it half the price off an AXS Reverb dropper. Its even less than the wholesale price of an Axs Reverb....!! @Johan A Marais its a Lyne. It works. The return is quite slow compared to a Reverb, It's a similar eight to the AXS dropper at roughly 800gr. It still has the bit of rotational play that all Lyne droppers have which only gets worse and doesn't improve after a service. I would echo Guido's view the Reverb is a much better dropper, especially the new 2025 version, At +800gr and +R10K the Lyne doesn't have a business case as far as I am concerned. I am much happier with a light, stiff, easily service mechanical dropper from OneUp Components at half the price of the Lyne e-contour
  7. Do you have the bike’s serial number ? These are not very common so if it end up on the road without it’s SN it will be easy to give the ride a PK and retrieve the bike
  8. .annoying double post removed by poster
  9. Famn, that’s going to require a grader to repair
  10. Feels a bit bigger for the same size
  11. If it’s a 7005 aluminium you can heat it up gradually and try and set it with slow consistent pressure. I’d recommend inserting an axle or old hub to maintain drop out alignment. Leave to air harden again. If it’s 6000 series or any other heat treated aluminium toss it in the bin. disclaimer: paint will become brittle and flake off due to the heating and cooling disclaimer 2: I wouldn’t try this at home
  12. 10-52 can work on some dual suspension bikes with the older Eagle derailleurs, but not all. It depends on travel and ANti Squat. If not, you will have to upgrade the pulley cage to a 52T compatible unit.
  13. I guess the memories of dropped chains on 10speed systems has just expired
  14. So MVDP has an adulation fracture of the scaphoid. That’s him done for the next 10 -14 days
  15. The SRAM Eagle 12 speed shifter shifts a 12speed Shimano derailleur across a sram or shimano 12 speed cassette just fine. but having the same brand across all parts modes offer peace of mind and simplifies any troubleshooting and warranty
  16. When assessing it at a GX level it’s much of a muchness. X01 and XX1 deliver fantastic durability in the long run. with the Shimano kit, just keep an eye on the chain wear and change it before 0.5% wear then the cassette will last quite long. The cassettes and chain are not as hard wearing as SRAM X01 and XX1 but much cheaper. I think over a rolling 3 yr period you end up at roughly the same place in terms of $ spent
  17. The one where he tried to squeeze past Valero Sorano and took them both out? that move was quite indicative of why he needs to race XCO more. He completely misjudged that one. It was one of those “ he isn’t going to…. He is…<closes one eye>”. then the camel bump spacex launch …. like bro…. 😳
  18. Definitely not all the travel but he had his 34 set to 110mm. look I can’t blame Alan having a moment of fatigue or I’ll get crucified so long cranks it is ok…. Work with me here
  19. XO1 will last considerably longer at 100gr weight saving however, if you run a chain to beyond 0,5% you will kill the cassette, but the X01 is more tolerant of this abuse than a GX cassette
  20. What’s the headset spec's and fork steerer diameter. Looks like a straight 1&1/8 or is it 1.5? frame manual should have some details on the specs. Key thing is to buy the lower bearing and crown race together so the inside race taper matches
  21. Get a new cassette. Nothing is going to get better from here with the old one
