  1. So easy to get camel jumps wrong. Loose the timing and you’re over the front faster than a fast thing
  2. Yeah the 6 shot is awesome. I have the MaxxD which is one down in the range . I used mine for 360One in 2023. In Programme2 it ran all night and that was me riding an Mtb, not even racing for a position. Can’t go wrong with Exposure lights. First class service even for a 10 yr old unit. ya the conundrum re tyre choice vs chain stay clearance for chainring. Gearing will always win. But how wide do you reckon is wide enough? For a elite racer vs age grouper vs mid packer vs weekend warrior? im in the 2.0 to 2.2 tyre width mindset which currently means a drop bar hardtail with suspension seat post. But as you say, that means a 100mm suspension fork which is overkill for gravel….
  3. Good choice of light, probably overkill for the event but more is better in this regard. I think a hardtail MTb with a bigger chainring is the way to go but that will require some phaffing with the axle and chainline. Crankset selection is key and also max rear sprocket. All doable with current parts availability. maybe consider a classified planetary gear rear hub?
  4. It’s bad enough he broke the law by running the lights , but then he Aggrevates the situation by throwing a full bottle again the windscreen, cracking said windscreen. How he didn’t got m@&$ed is beyond me
  5. you mean the crown race? that is usually sold with the headset. But your fork has one bonded in place so why do you need another one? is it not bonded and too big?
  6. Koretzky is out with several broken bones due to a crash in practice. Ana Santos also but from a crash last week in Germany

  10. Scam, Scam Tewsher
  11. much cheaper to drive to New Avenue, Somerset West
  12. Nice recovery ride by Roglic. Lets hop he stays upright the rest of the race 🤞
  13. Marketing as demonstrated by Morne. In terms of width, roller size, link pin size they are the same except for coating.
  14. No such thing. 10 speed is 10speed, Shimano, sram, kmc, Taya , road , mtb they all have roughly similar dimensions. It’s only at 12s where the Mtb vs road distinction starts to manifest.
  15. If present chain is more than 0.5% I reckon thats your problem. This 0.75% nonsense is just a money making scheme so you replace the whole drivetrain
  16. fixed it
  17. Ok cool, I recall he was apprehensive of these saddles with a cut out. But with an intact existing cover to work a template from it should be more managable.
  18. I dealt with a Gareth O’Brien at Woodstock leather
  19. Nice tech on the Cervelo TT bike with an integrated saddle&seatpost at 135gr for the unit!!😆 #takemymoney
  20. Thats nice! Guy as in Jewie?
  21. I spoke too soon about Primoz not crashing. Two crashes already . One on Sunday and just now before the TT start while doing a recon of the route…./eish skijumpers
  22. Correction, you want to start with a straight chainline so best to pick a chainring and sprocket that gives a straight chain line. Then eyeball the guide pulley alignment to the bottom of the sprocket it’s under and work your way from there. If it shifts well but climbs up or down with a straight chainline then derailleur hanger is out of alignment. Repeat in the big ring. If the big ring delivers skipping or gears wanting to climb then the hanger could be out of alignment. This happens easily on flimsy road bike derailleur hangers. With KMC chains always record chain length from new and Monitor with a chain checker. I’ve had them chains out of the packaging with 0,25% elongation. when last were the chainrings replaced? I have also found with Shimano chainrings when back-pedalling there is a tendency to drop the chain into the inner ring. This is due to the shift gate teeth and pins in the ring.
