  1. Jeez that's nice of them! Surely the Top Fuel 9.7 has a remote lockout.. just lock them out on the climbs and flats.. then release and enjoy them on the descents!
  2. Looks like we'll be having nice weather, no rain. YR longterm forecast shows 12 minimum for Uniondale and 20 maximum for Knysna..with a very slight headwind all the way.
  3. Oh I see now.. Checked the Racetec website. They used the Worcester Rotary MTB event as my seeding. That race claimed to by 77km, but in reality it was only 70km, and minimal climbing, so it shows I rode an average speed of almost 23kmh which isn't true! I definitely shouldn't be in A!!
  4. Jip, I'll also keep left! I haven't done any big races I can think of. Did the CTCT 40km MTB event and the Knysna MTB 80km, but it took me just over 5 hours to complete..so I have no idea how I could be seeded in batch A.
  5. Anyone of you know how to customize the workout screen layout on the Sigma Rox 11? I know I read about it somewhere, but can't seem to find it again!
  6. Yip the same for me after the CTCT MTB Challenge!! 25kgs down since started cycling 7 months ago, then smashed my target at the event! Aimed to finish the 40km in 3h30min, did it in 2h43min..then afterwards I rewarded myself with beers and food and zero to none exercise the last couple of week. Gained 2kgs again.. I am realizing now I will have to set myself longterm targets or races to aim at, otherwise I'm just falling off the bus all the time. Next one the Amarider 50 Miler(80km) on the 19th May. That's solid two months of hard training and eating right to get ready for that event.
  7. One day the 100 Miler, maybe MAYBE the 50 Miler this year..mulling..mulling.. Only been cycling for 7 months, not sure if I'd even be ready for the 50 Miler yet.
  8. Sho, you guys are inspiring!!! Thought I was the only guy sukkeling to get in shape! After 5 years of doing no exercise and having a job where halve the time I was on the road and only eating take-aways, and the rest of the time my office was next to a coffee shop that literally served me lunch through the kitchen backdoor in front of my PC, I finally quit that job and are now in a better position where it is actually possible to get into a routine. I started cycling again last year June on 125.1kg, and today I am on 100.1kg. Could probably have been even better if it wasn't for a month long honeymoon in September and December Holidays. Both those set me back a few kilograms because a steak is a steak and a beer is a beer and I don't know how to say no to those things when on holiday. My next weight target is 95kg by April, and then 90kg by June..aiming for a total of 35kg loss in a one year period. This Saturday will be the first race I enter since I started cycling again. The Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge 40km. Before this my last race was probably in 2002, and I can't remember ever nipping as bad about a race as I'm doing now!
  9. Here's the Rider Brief guys.. http://i7z8g7r0k9.mlsend3.com/g4y0v4/
  10. This bump has now turned into a HC Climb!! Still nothing!
  11. My old Scott is busy getting some Bogus treatment! Not done yet, but I can see a new Spark of life in her already!! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
