Show me a Alu stem and bar combo that weighs under 200g for both... thought not I think you'll find the pro's a). have a weight limit so most of their components are beefier to make up for the skinny frame, and b). the pros I've chatted to were a bit skeptical on the carbon bars breaking on them. I've used them and while the bend on the gear side of the STI seems a bit wierd (not the extreme bend around and go under the bar tape), they worked flawlessly on both brakes and gears.
