I agree with sentiments raised by Amateur and Greyowl 2.0 On the one hand we have Fire, a great looking, young track star who has scored good results and is likely to go far in the sport. On the other hand we have me, a 39 year old father of 2, trying to balance work, family, social life, 10 - 15 hrs a week of training and attempting to treat all people the way I would like to be treated. I ride for the love of riding. Perhaps a reason that the voting has been so close is that while most of us want to be like Fire, in reality are probably closer to being like me.

As much as I appreciate the sentiment here, life hardly ever gives fairy tale endings, despite how much we may want a feel good result; if the end result is winner takes all then that is how it is. Thanks to all that have voted so far

I loved watching the Fleche Wallonne yesterday. Listened for 2 mins and then followed the same procedure I do when watching Giro on RAI; muted the sound and enjoyed the race
