  1. have a look at the pi option Media box pi add a remote or get a wireless keyboard. install Kodi and set up to your hearts desire I have a android box... went back to the pi... just better for me..

  11. then go the Raspberry pi route.. order now and you'll have by tomorrow. very capable.. little more work to set up..ie download Noobs and install on SD card once set up, you can use your smart phone to control.. and if you change later on to an android box, well you can use the PI as a media server.. if you do go this route, don't hesitate to shout out if need some help..

I have the MXQ pro 4k with 1GB ram.. and over the weekend..(against the advise of the Interwebs) upgraded to Krypton... best decision i made.. more stable.. doesn't crash as much as it did (had a issue when adding streams from Spekto to library) i briefly tried the default theme, but i prefer Confluence..
  16. my experience.. Raspberry pi 3 works awesomely, but i did get myself a Mxq Pro 4k box which too works awesomely..Got mine off takelot.com in Dec for R890
