  12. you wish it was a typo.. that was my tested heart rate.. 10 years on and i've pushed it way higher.... but then i wasnt very fit..
  13. i'm assuming that she workrd your max out with a calculator? if so throw it away.. you need to then go and have a max heart rate test done.. when i was young and dumb my max heart rate was 2011. a full 11 beats higher than what theses formulas say.
  14. glad your are ok.. helmut and bike can always be replace. i'm also glad to see the driver visied you.. that says alot.. had it where i was hit and the driver never even stopped. and yes you can never be to visible.... even then your not visible enough. i find that think for the motorists helps big time..

  16. i think a couple of question have been forgoten about.. 1) how often do you clean your chain? 2) how old is the chain? 3) how often do you oil your chain.. been mtb i assume it runs dry quickly like mine does. 4)do you keep your chain line as straight as possible

  19. i'm in seen as the 12 years i've been in JHB i've been on the bike commuting for most of that... i belive the more bike's the better our roads will be. A change in peoples attutides towards commuters is the first goal that needs to be addressed. its also the Hardest to achieve..
