and that's the real crux of the issue affordability to watch what i want when i want.. amazon($9), Netflix ($8) showtime(R99), BBC..it all starts adding up, then you still need your internet connection and maybe a VPN to get the US/UK channels If there was a player/stream where I could watch any series/Movie on any network at anytime for less than R200/m that would be acceptable, and I'd go that route.

hi Joeyboy I'm on Kodi, 17.1 on a Pi and librelec use a mixture of Spekto (main) and Exodus (secondary) and it works fine for me,, maybe try updating your Pi's they seem a little outdated.. I'm on Telkom without a VPN I Use Spekto mainly because I can items to My library so don always have to go into spekto to watch series, but straight to my library, and Exodus for when i'm struggling to find a stream in Spekto. the other thing is do you have auto stream on? i had to remove mine and manually find a stream as auto stream would come up with no stream available, hope many happy hours of viewing ahead..

You are correct Kodi itself doesn't let you watch Pirate streams, just is a nice convenient media management center, its the 3rd Party Addons that we all enjoy that is the problem, and the issue these days is with the fully loaded Kodi-box's that allow one access out the box to the pirate streams if Kodi was the problem, then so would any internet browser also be a problem as you can watch it from there too,
