  10. Don't worry too much about your HR for now. If you feel comfortable on 78% then great. Your avg and max heart rate will drop as your fitness levels pick up. Remember that your heart is also one big muscle that gets stronger. As your heart gets stronger and bigger it will be able to pump through more blood with each pump thus needing to pump less beats making you more energy efficient. What I like hearing here is that you are actually starting too listen to your body and start to realize with what levels you are comfortable. Thats already a big step in the right direction. If you want I can adjust the program a little for you in terms of the suggested HR.

  12. Howzit AirMaverick, A few guys have given feedback and it seems they doing fine. At least they are for now. I'm waiting for when they get to week 9 when the real intense training starts. Hows your training going, your very quiet.
  13. Another reminder about the exercise demos on alloutmtb. I'm loading some more tonight. I will also add a filter to make it easier to search for specific exercises.
  14. My apologies. I will correct the numbering on the routines. But to answer your question, Yes, 1a,1b,2a,2b equates to 1,2,3,4. Regarding plate taps. You will see next to the exercise is a link "Demo". Click that and it will take you to a video demo and explanation of the exercise. Not all of the exercises have demo's yet, those that don't have will be added tomorrow and Saturday.

  23. We have added a whole list of strength exercise video's and descriptions on alloutmtb.co.za There are currently about 30 different exercises with lots more to come. You will also see some spinning related videos including spinning bike setup, some of the spinning exercises we use and a basic stretching routine for spinning. Check in next week for lots more video demo's as well as full body strength and leg strength superset training routines that will cause blood sweat and tears but lots of smiles when you hit those hills and start climbing like a mountain goat. http://www.alloutmtb.co.za/allexercises
