check out our van gaalens video and review on alloutmtb.co.za. The new route your referring to is the "daggapad". We recorded the root and its part of the video. About 10min into the video. In my opinion it is the best piece of single track Ive ever ridden. yes, Im doing the 75km. Cant wait. Did lion man 80km this weekend and Im sure magalies monster cant me much tuffer. The Monster climb is 400m of climbing over 8km, the first massive climb at lion man was 300m over 4km. Im sure that puts it into perspective. And it was technical as it can be. Magalies Monster here I come.

Im doing the Lion man this weekend and will also do a full review of that race together with video footage, gps map and profile.
