Moddified MED Anthem 1 of mine =11.9kg and I can easily drop 300gr off with dumping the mudguard... If u want a cheap value for money light bike then the Anthem is the only way to go.... U can have mine for 24k with all the extrasrad0062009-05-14 14:32:15

Its the long weekend and broken hand im worried about.... I dunno I still feel like sandblasting is the way to go....... maybe then im forced to powdercoat it...

Ok so sandblast then prime right away... but now is there a different primer ie steel to alu???

Thanks Capricorn Cos there will be a delay between sandblasting and painting and im worried that if I dont prime it then I will have some serious issues later down the road

But is Powder Coating better??? Its on an HT so no bearings to worry about and little scraping needed.... I mean whats more tough

Hi Guys Im rebuilding a bike for a mate and need to strip his old paintwork is it ok to just sandblast the frame??? Also seeming as its alu and its rusts on contact with air do I need to prime it right away after sandblasting??? If so is there a special primer or can I just use normal metal primer???ie that brown/redish stuff Bike will be painted with normal 2k afterwards so would like to know if my thinking is fine

Why dont you just put a 400mm seatpost on the small thats what I did and it worked out great.

So whats the outcome the measurements fake??? Does the frame look smaller at least??? I had a small frame before and now my med is def bigger... Cant measure now though sorry
