  1. Ive just had a google about it, seems to be a limited lifetime. So read the fine print.
  2. I'm sure that Giant frames have a lifetime warrenty, I could be wrong though.
  3. Unlucky mate, just take it back to the bike shop.
  4. Will suppliers really want to cut their own profits, just for the sake of a few disgruntled bike shops. They must learn play ball.
  5. Exactly. I supprt whoever is willing to support me, be it CWC, CRC or sometimes the LBS.
  6. Wont stop me from buying from them, if the local prices were more inline then no problem.
  7. Very nice indeed , Is that the same friend of yours?
  8. Ive just sent them an email, soI'll call them when I get home. Any ideas on how many seal kits I might need for the for the HOPE closed 2. Here is the manual Ive found, not 100% sure :- http://www.bike-comp...,dh4,xc4_o2.pdf Are there HOPE agents in SA?
  9. Just seen now that the most important, and the cheapest & smallest item has gone out of stock, it was 100% definatly in stock when I placed the order(Grrrrr) Please dont tell me that the whole order will be held up because of this. I'll cry This may seem like a stupid question , but when ordering seal kits for Hope Closed 2 brakes how many caliper only seal kits would I need? I orderd 4, three are in stock, one is not. So will I be ok, or am I screwed
  10. Just a quick question, I placed an order on Monday(midday) When I check on my account with CRC the order is still showing processing(even now), has anyone else had this before where it has been saying processing for 3 days. Just a little worried, or is there nothing too be worried about? I should probably send an email or is it too early, Ive had no correspondence from them saying anything is wrong.
  11. I'm just not sure of his reasoning, as he said he climbs hills faster, but on the downhills he is slower, and over the bumpy stuff. So not sure what his intensions are, I'm convinced he just wants a light bike, Ive told him too hang on with the selling of his full sus frame. Personally, I love riding my 26" hardtail as well, my other bike being a Trance X2. Its a different feel, way more direct. Its in the process of a major overhaul so out of action at the moment.
  12. Well, my riding buddy is so sold on his new 26" hardtail frame(giant xtc) he is selling his full sus frame. He is absolutly convinced its the way to go. Im very surprised
  13. Eish, my bad never had a seat mounted. I would think they woul dbe the same. Ive had the one bottle for 9 years, lol. Its been retired now
  14. I would be there without a doubt if I didnt live in Durbs.
  15. They fall out cause they dont fit the bottle cage, Ive never lost a bottle in my life.
  16. Whats wrong with that? Thats business mate
  17. An unfortunate lesson to have had to learn , always get at least 3-4 prices from different places. You gotta play them against each other.
  18. Just to understand this, as I too was educated on this today , What do you mean by, "don't really use pivots" ? So a softtail can use pivots therefore making it a dual suspension, Im a bit confused.
  19. Very nice, and keep the white wheels
  20. Now why would you want to do that, possible upgrade?
  21. Take them for a test ride, its the only way to know if the bike is right fo you, components aside.
