  1. You're right form is way more important than doing more... I'll go easy on the squatting next Friday and do it correctly this time.
  2. This is the definition of a parallel squat..
  3. Hell I can even get a written letter from every Math teacher in my school saying that mathematics is harder today than in the past..
  4. Every article I could find on Google was written by old people saying that math is harder today. Highschool as a whole is harder today as in the past depending which subjects you take ovcourse.... I think you might be confused as you get 'math lit' and comparing it to math core.
  5. I'm now 100% sure that math did not exist back in your day. I just can't.
  6. Parallel means your thighs are parallel to the floor (90°). That's how I understand it. It does make logical sense????‍♂️.
  7. I only squat ones a week. A coach on the hub told me to incorpate one good gym session per week. A lot of pro cyclists squat twice a week in their off season. I don't know how it can have a negative effect.
  8. Ive talked to guys who does competitive weight lifting. The guy said that if your old and have knee problems then you should just squat 90 degrees. (that's parallel). If you want to work out more muscles drop below 90 degrees (break parallel), then you start to activate the large musculature on the backside of your body – your hamstrings and glutes.
  9. Wow I'm impressed. I didn't know there was such a thing as vegan restaurants in SA. I'm glad there's a restaurant out there where the only vegan thing isn't fries????
  10. It's fryday today which means it's usually squat day for me. Today I squatted 3X12 60kg. On the moment I weigh 58kg. I'd like to weigh 65kg within the next two weeks so I'm bulking up on tofu. Watch "How to squat like a Vegan????" on YouTube https://youtu.be/Ub9UZOf44FI Just know that my left leg is still injured so I squatted more with my right leg today.
  11. This is what I eat during long rides. It's rice with flaxseeds. Today I ate 1 1/2 cups of this which is equivalent to 435 calories. It was supposed to be rice cakes but I only made it an hour before I went riding and it couldn't cool off properly.... What do you guys eat during long rides?
  12. I was in grade 10 this year. I had to go check what I got on my tests yesterday and I got 75% with my math and 65% with my Physics, so I'm not dumb. But I did flunk accounting.????
  13. I depend on autocorrect to spell the stuff right. Anyway I understand sort of what'Friday'means
  14. Can someone explain to me how this 'fryday' think works. Or what does it mean when a hubber say it's not yet fryday.
  15. OK, will tell my mom to buy blackcat next time. But who said vegans are healthy????
  16. Well if I go on the backside of the bread it doesnt name milk or egg in its ingredients or in any of its allergens.Yeast bread doesn't contain any of those. But I know almost all bakers bread contains milk so I don't eat that. I do eat that 'brick bread' that's dark in colour every 3rd day.
  17. Yum Yum
  18. VEGAN. If you referred to the peanut butter then you are wrong, peanut butter doesn't contain milk or eggs. If you referred to the smoothie you can see it's rolled oats not muesli.
  19. Hey guys this is my morning breakfast. Keeps me full till 11pm, then I eat 2x peanut butter broodjies. Watch "How to make a VEGAN smoothie" on YouTube https://youtu.be/u13IFwHF4w4 When I don't have spinach I use beetroot.
  20. Watch "Zwift commercial remake" on YouTube
  21. Just note: I don't want you guys to think I'm poor. I just saw that my post is a bit too much. I have everything I need, money isn't an issue.. it's just nice to save and be healthy.
  22. Lol
  23. Odison wasn't a knob, he only told you what he believed was right,he wasn't being rude or impolite. I'm really offended. You don't have the right to say I'm not a vegan and that I don't have the commitment and sacrifice it takes to be one, you don't even know me and what I've been through. Since I'm a hormonal teenager let me tell you my story. I don't have a Dad, I have 2 brothers (17 and 11) and a Mom with a low income. My big brother is assigned to do the cooking at night. He turned vegan 7 months, the cooking for only 3 got hard and so he persuaded us all to go vegan. So you are right, my brother does all the thinking and I just go with it. The transition was easy as we never really ate MEAT, we never braaied. Only mince and chicken. Take-outs was very rare. Think about it, food intake is such an abstract thing. We save our mom money with the vegan-lifestyle and that is my main motivation, even though I have to eat the same every day. I admit it, I'm the immature one in the family. I'll show you I'm vegan by posting everything I eat every day.
