  1. The guy didn't even mention some of the most important aspects. He didn't even mention how foggy your bloods plasma was when eating meat compared to not eating meat. He did talk about the Penis thing but the study cleary showed that your boners are more erected at night time than meat-eaters boners...
  2. I've been avoiding meat completely for 2 months before and only drank milk, that didn't made me a vegan, it's just recently for 2 weeks I started to go completely vegan.
  3. You're ******* childish, sorry for my language but to put everything in caps is just rediculous. I simply just told you guys about something and here you say I wanted to get a reaction out of you guys. That's fine, be like that,it's not like you made bikehub. Sorry you got offended about my life choice. I don't see the issue talking about something else on a different thread.........I'm going to respect you and and I will go find another thread to go share my story with if that makes you happy. ????
  4. Go watch 'The game changer' it has endurance athletes in it, including an olimpic gold track rider.
  5. Not just some stupid propaganda movie. Go have a look at all the athletes that are vegan: Novak Djocovic and Serena Williams.
  6. I wasn't telling anyone to eat what to eat and what to do. Dude chill. I get this reaction a lot and you probably think I'm better than you but I don't think so. It's just a simple diet choice. Eat meat if you if you want to eat meat.
  7. I get just as much as protein in as you do. My 1 cup of lentils a day is higher in protein than any meat. Just go watch the movie.
  8. No we don't eat eggs... ????But it makes you a better cyclist. ????
  9. My brother (17) went full vegan 7 months ago and got significant results with his cycling. His dissipline is only road. He encouraged me to do the same so I'm also vegan but only for 2 week so far. Id like you guys to go watch this movie on Netflix it's called 'The Game Changer'. The movie is really an eye opener and gives you a greater understanding about veganism.
  10. I thought about what you said and I understand. Im going to buy rock and fox seals over the internet sometime this month then I'm going to use those next year around March month...
  11. I really don't think the damper is so crucial to service. Stuff like dust can't even come in so I think it fine, my hydrolic lockout still works perfectly, the mechanic said it's only necessary to open it when my lockout doesn't work. I don't think mechanics knows everything but I can't find other info on Google that says otherwise... But I'm not going to wear my shock out if I don't replace the dustwipers (seals) even the mechanic said it's a huge waste of money. He said it's only necessary to replace when the seals starts to crack and looks old and worn.
  12. Fork service wasn't that expensive afterall. I desided to keep the dust wipers and only replace the foam rings. The bike shop said that with my type of fork it isn't necessary to service the damper because it's a sealed cartridge damper and dust cant get in (but isn't it not the same with all shocks?????????) Lower leg.... R300 Fork service.... R550 I was charged R300. I don't think they charged me for the foam rings. Next year Ill get myself new seals then it will cost 600+-
  13. And also where to buy it from. Is a torch wrench necessary? Etc.
  14. I know what type of oil to use and how much but the problem with buying the oil and everything is that it costs a lot of money if you don't buy it in bulk.
  15. Hey guys I need some advice. I'm 16 btw I baught myself a second hand fork on the hub 2 years ago its a Rockshox Sid xx 2014 I paid 4k. Every ride I wipe the dust off the stations with a cloth to fight half the battle of not servicing it. I put in 5-7 hours per week on my bike and now it defenitely needs a service with some new seals. I called every bikeshop in joburg to hear what the best price is and the average price was approximately 1k. 1k ?????????? For 10ml of fork oil some new grease on the damper and 2 pieces of rubber and foam and maybe 1.5 hours worth of labour. Should I just rather buy myself a rigid carbon fork from China for 850 rand. I mostly ride xco in the spurleage and local mtb races.
  16. My freehub has a lot of chips in from the casset banging on the splines. The casset didn't have a snug fit and wiggled a lot. So I went to my lbs and they told me that they don't have the part and that I need to replace the whole hub because they can't find it. I also didn't have the money so I baught expoy/resin from builders to fill up the small holes. Do you guys think it's better to just glue the whole casset on while I'm at it? I also thought about putting in a very small spacer so that it has an even tighter fit.
  17. With the highschools spur-xco races you will find kids that dope. The boy's who makes podium gets tested once or twice and I think there has been a boy who was caught.
