Have not tried Cycle Fix - will do so next after these comments. Of the rest I prefer Bruce's - they are the most friendly to someone who does not look like an elite cyclist. The rest treat me like they dont want to bother with someone who does not look the part - or maybe just someone who does not look like they have money to spend? Hatfield cycles not really like this but they all seem a bit rushed/understaffed and this showed on my repairs done there.

I am still a rookie - just been lucky so far then. I do the go slow thing in my car when someone rides up my backside being an idiot (and I don't drive slow) so will do the same if screamed at and abused on my bike.

I assume using your own bike on a trainer is better than a spinning bike. You are then in your own saddle?

Heard it was about one success (someone sending them some money) from about 2 million emails sent out! Still makes it worthwhile for them. They get an email address trawler programme to collect addresses from the web - why you should not post it on the web if at all possible.

When I take my dog for a walk I take a packet with to do a poop scoop - should offer this bloke one when someone sees him next! I (and am sure my dog too) would have been embarrassed had my dog done it then on the start line.
