@JB, sorry if this has been asked before but how often do you have to clean and lubricate the post with carbon paste? Does the same apply to area between alu stems and carbon bars?

Turbo props are quite noisy but if you fly often enough in them you get used to it. They are very reliable and require shorter takeoffs and landings, especially on dirt strips. The Astra's used by the Siver Falcon's off SAAF are Pilatus turboprops.
