    Formula 1...

Alonso gave it all till the end. Next year boys. That Red Bull is running on something else. I would love to see a Ferarri winning druver's titla again.
  3. Sub 2:45 you should average 34-35 kph. Not sure of the time splits. Generally warm up in Stellies around venue or you could head up the new Hells. The vibe in the streets is awesome. The place gets real busy.
  4. You just cant wait to hear everyone ask about your new bike, then you can give them all the specs. You know you have to ride it really hard as its the first race.
  5. Last year I left home late and got to park near hospital, then rushing to catch my start group and made it just in time, so legs were 'lekker warm'. The climb up Hell's in between the trees will have you looking for gears at the back. Pace yourself because there is still a long way to go. Enjoy the fast drop into Pniel and then swing left towards Paarl. That last stretch from the N1 on the R44 saps the legs completely so keep some in reserve. Its going to be awesome , hope the rain stays away.
  6. One week to go. Who will be doing there first one? Who will be returning to improve their PB? Any questions to ask fellow hubbers about tips and route description. As far as weather is concerned early predictions from Accuweather says Stellies will be a high of 26 deg and low of 16 deg. Wind will be NW 12 knots. Paarl will be 29/16 deg, wind NNW 8 knots and Wellinngton 29/16 deg, wind NNW 9 knots. Earlier there was talk of rain but we will wait and see. Any comments about the new start procedures as per mail? Be there one hour before your start and into the shutes. Seems like we gonna have to warm the legs up Ou Hellshoogte.
  7. Decrease entry fees for a year to encourage more 'new' people to do fun rides. Why not pay our CSA fees again.
  8. From Tweets it seems NuWater has one this one. Anybody no the time .
  9. Lekker slapies julle. More is uithaal en wys.

  13. Good luck everyone. Have a good race and be safe. Special wishes for Muhammedeyah CC. Wish I could be there.
  14. Good luck to all the riders and race staff. Hope everything goes well and all gets home safely and the weather holds nicely.

  16. No. The Golf 5 does not have gutter on the side of roofline. You could still use the bars itself but you would need to change the foot pods.
  17. Fulcrum 1st,Mavic 2nd.
  18. Nice first post there ChazZ. Sorry Prof ChazZ.
  19. Hoender tande Laura, chicken teeth. Best is to put your hub settings to following the classifieds. Whenever a new ad comes up you will get a notification email. You have to be quick on the draw.
  20. GOG, get a Pixie for your holiday home with a seperate frother. Works out way cheaper. I saw the bags for the machines retail for about a grand if you wanna cart your machine around. I need to get one of the little containers with partitions to store my pods. Its fun though, I chucked all my pods into a Tupperware container so I end up rummaging through them like looking for your favourite sweet in the Quality Street or liquorice All Sorts packet.
  21. Popped into VNA last night. Sampled the coconut and I must say I'm not sold as yet. Bought a box though wiff some hazelnut, macadamia and my favourite Indriya. Had 2 lungo shots of Mac this morning in a mug and I'm impressed. Yesterday was a sad day. Took my last 2 boxes of Crealto out of hiding.
  22. Nice choice for title change. Something new with something old. Now when are they gonna get done with the new kit?
  23. I dont do Xmas, but if somewhere, outthere, someone is not happy with the C59 frame they find under tree I will gladly accept the kind gesture to hold on to it for you, indefinitely.
