  1. Is that Kloof from Cape Town or Camps Bay side?
  2. When I had one i actually cut the pool noodle down the length and then wrapped it around the bars of Xpress and secured with cable ties. Between two bikes the noodle itself would be perfect. Awhile back someone in Jhb was manufacturing a padded cover that fit on the top tube to go between bikes.
  3. Not on current bike. I am busy with something but its a slow process.
  4. Only Campy, nothing else. The M10 Colnago which is below the C59 but lighter and a mono-q frame is made in Taiwan. The C59 is all Italian tube to tube construction. Been looking into the Sarto brand after ti-guy 's post of his bike and they are also all Italian beauties and lots of custom options on frames. Hmmmm.
  5. I know its a tri- bike but check out the agressive lines it just screams Faster! Faster! http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/a38d61c95f83979da9d3d2303abaf404.jpg
  6. I just love Colnago's. Besides the white accents this would be near perfect. http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/90095274d6356e444cb98f2076b3f7c7.jpg http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/3f4a9a693e58a6cfc478fb9dcee5062c.jpg http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q605/shaheedosman/f57de6137611d7379c57dc812efa902f.jpg

  11. If you dont wanna smell like a baby ' coochy coo' get some hygeine powder from Johnson n Johnson at Clicks or Dischem.
  12. Bactroban ointment with a tegaderm / opsite dressing over it. Generic could be Spectroban.
  13. Lots of talk of snakes this weekend. Lets hope no one gets bitten by the real snakes. Btw AFAIK, Tygerberg hospital is only hospital in Western Cape with anti-snake venom.
  14. Tx, @ alsoran posted a map. I have a pretty good idea of route now.
  15. There are lots of teams training and riding indiscriminately. This morning I saw a group easily more than 10 all in team kit riding 3 abreast going down lower main road towards town in the low lying mist taking up half the one lane. With the taxis barreling down there in morning thats just looking for trouble. Cmon guys lets be more responsible.
  16. Volvo P something something coupe like the Saint used.

  19. Wheels are your best option to lose weight as you better your rotational mass. Lighter bars and pedals are far more expensive.
  20. First time, just have fun, enjoy the vibe, take in the awesome scenery and you will be back again. Fitness is important so you don't suffer while riding and eveything else will be unforgetable.
  21. There is a guy I get regularly riding through Obz and and other days on Suikerbossie in 360 kit on a roadbike. Did they sponsor any road teams or is it part of mtb training regimen?
  22. No it allegedly tested positive and he paid $25000 + 100k from his sponsors to UCI to shut em up, sorry, to help with anti-doping. Lol.
  23. > So Tyler you doped right, you got caught. > Did Lance dope as well? > So Lance never tested positive, so he must have been pedalling the stuff to team. > cmon Tyler we need something to make book juicy.
