This idea is a good one ..rather find a better 2nd hand bike that wont let you down on a ride. Sportmans and makro bikes are not meant for long term riding in my opinion , seen to many components fail too many times on too many rides. youll end up spending the same amount as the bike cost just on maintenance .

I need an entry into 2014 Sani 2 c event , any flippen event. I have had such a run of bad luck and not been able to secure an entry into any of the events tried for 3 years now . It is my big 40th next year and this is on my bucket list. If any members are toying with the idea of (giving= selling for the purchased price and costs involved with a small mark up ?) away their enty then please please give me a shout. I rode Mr lector , Nice bike, Rode the surgeons knife, couldnt get use to the single fork setup,it freaked me out, but it rode well, and well lets just say i am am superfly guy now, but not the elite mind you Dude all are awesome bikes get what appeals to you the most , but good luck

How long would you be willing to ride your Frankenstein bike before you could afford the wheels and fork?. I reckon if you are riding it for a short period of time you may be able to but long term ie more than say 2 months would be a bit hardcore ..
