  1. Dads, what's the go to system to get my little one (3) onto my bicycle and riding with me?
  2. Been sitting in my garage for 3 years now. Free to whomever needs them or that can use them. Based in JHB.
  3. Absolutely. Basically my entire bike's parts I managed to get for some great prices the year before last.
  4. I remember the big guys like Cycle Lab & Easy Bike etc creating threads for riders wishlists and then making an effort to discount those items. I haven't seen any newsletters even this year. Or maybe I'm just not paying attention?
  5. I've had them for just around 2 years now. Absolutely no mechanical or technical issues with them. They're crazy loud, so you might not forget them. But they seem bulletproof so far. I've ridden a mix of JHB dusty trails as well as KZN mud fests. They engage instantly, and I feel they do help on tight and sharp climbs as well.
  6. Hey, I've got these. Is there anything in particular that you'd like to know? I've had them for about 2 years now.
  7. Good luck with your venture! If you need help with the booking system, happy to build it for you (free of charge) if you haven't decided on a system already.

  9. Not sure what this thread is about anymore, but they've apparently arrested the driver.
  10. This thread is 2 years old now? I thought it was recent. Who is looking for a hydration pack and have you made up your mind as yet?
  11. Absolutely no bloody idea. Suits me just fine!
  12. I ended up buying a ladies camelbak a few years back when Onedayonly were selling them for R799. Think it was dead stock or something. https://www.olympiccycles.co.za/product/camelbak-aurora-2-5l-gibraltar-navy-lake-blue/ It's comfy. Has 2 pockets for things like choc bars and can fit a windbreaker if you start a ride and it's cool, and then when you warm up you can fold it up and squeeze it in.
  13. Weltevreden Park? The one close to Cresta centre? That's some ways out of Roodepoort. Which discipline, MTB or road?
  14. What have you decided in terms of accommodation?
  15. I would assume Hennops is the driest place in the world even during a tsunami. It's never not been dusty there. The yellow long route including the spookhuis at Cradle Moon should be dry. Avoid the bamboo forrest.
  16. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. This was the one I ended up going with.

  18. @SLipstream - At the bottom of Sandton Drive & Willam Nicol intersection is the spruit trail, at the boomed off gate for Hurlingham. Take that trail towards randburg and you can go all the way to Emmarentia & back, right through Delta park. If you do the Delta hill, you can get about 30km's out of it.
  19. Hey everyone, one of the bolts that supports the drinks cage looks like it's stripped and I can no longer get any meaningful purchase with the allen key in order to loosen it. Any advice?
