I am a funrider but for me the Argus..I have to apply for leave a year before the time to make sure I am in South Africa. As you can imagine the build up to the Argus for me is awesome..

10k...as I said, excellent condition, carbon bottle cages, flight deck computer, everything is great but just want to check if 9 speed is recomended or not.

what would need to be changes to upgrade to 10 speed?

Hey all....went to look at a beautifull second hand Scott S1 on the weekend and it is in excellent condition. It has a full dura-ace groupset BUT it has a 9 speed cluster.. is this a problem, should I rather look for something that has 10 speed....? .

Didn't Samma and a whole group of hubber?s do a ride for a worthy cause last year? ....how? bout this..Couldn't all the hubber's in the different regions do something similar and then that region chooses the cause? Problem is when I am in Nigeria the maximum I can do (in a good week) is 9-11 hours...I am not going to bore you with the details why.

Noble idea..... how do we decide what is & isn't a worthy cause and how much to donate to that cause?... Problem is some causes are more worthy than others..

I am doing the cyclelab tour to Knysna and was looking for a good electrolyte replacement... I havent been able to fit in the amount training I would have liked, so I reckon I am going to need something a little better than Energade.... Any suggestions for what to use when doing such a tour?

Howzit... They did it in 03:39, Q group. They tell me that they absolutely flew downhill but died going uphill!!

Three mates of mine did this years Argus on a tripple, I stand under correction but I think it was the first time this has been done. I will get him to send some pics to post later
