my point exactly. i understand the historical aurgument of the unwritten rules that is accepted in this race, but the unwritten rule is only applicable if racers choose to abide by it. if they choose not to, so be it. no wrong done there. the racing is more exciting now. let's see if andy has what it takes to win from this point!

True Champions rise above all adversity, and if Andy considers himself a champion then he must show how he can go on to win the tour from here. If his equipment let him down, then that means a bit of bad luck. Burry Stander and Christoph Suaser had problems in the Cape Epic when they were leading, you did not see Karl Platt and Stefan Sahm wait for them. Platt and Sahm are not seen as bad sportsmen. thats the nature of the sport, you suffer from physical problems as well as equipment problems. Riders just got to deal with with. Alberto is no less a sportsman for taking an opportunity to get the yellow gersey. just my 2c
