Yip, my 4 dogs sleep inside but not in my bedroom, except the one.....There is no way that my dogs would sleeps outside in the winter or when it's raining. In the summer when it's really warm they like sleeping on their beds outside. But I give them the choice. In the day they are in the back of my yard.

Hubbers, I'm sitting with a difficult decision. I'm going away for 2 weeks this holiday and unfortunately I can not take my 4 dogs with. The other day someone was in my yard and my two Huskies went missing. Luckily we managed to find them. Now the question is, do I leave them at home, or book them into a kennels that will keep them safe? The kennels must off course have a big area were they will be living and a couple of other things.

Had the scare of my life yesterday. Wife phoned me when she arrived home from work and told me that our 2 Husky's are missing and only the German Shepherd and Golden Retriever was still in the yard. My heart sank as I instantly knew someone was in my yard and feared the worst. My dogs are in the back of my yard and they will have to through two secured gates to be "free" and there is no way that they could have done that all on their own, especially just 2 of the 4. Immediately rushed home as I was still at work and called everyone I knew to be on the look out. After about 30min we managed to find them about 2km from where I stay on their way to the N1. The strangest thing is, two weeks ago also on a Monday, I arrived home to find that the 4 have been separated again and that the Golden Retriever and German Shepherd was locked in the swimming pool area. Made nothing of it at the time. Today I'm upgrading my security system. Sick world we live in I tell you.

Reading all this comments about breeders makes my blood boil I hate nearly all breeders. They are the reason we are sitting with such a huge problem in shelters. I personally feel that breeders should be held responsible for there dogs ending up in shelters. In a perfect world, there would be laws against breeding. Laws that will make sure that all these back yard breeders, and most of the other registered breeders gets put to an end. But like I said, in a perfect world...
