Before I left home to get to Chappies to take some photos, I saw the beginning of the Smits break on TV. It was clear that the kit might need some modification if you want TCS to be more identified. I noticed the same thing when on Chappies. The guys are visible because I've seen enough pictures on theHub, but it is difficult to identify the main sponsor. Perhaps look at toning down the "busy" look? Otherwise study the footage & identify the most visible spots on the kit & move the TCS branding to those areas. Well done on the team.

Welcome. I was in a similar position 2yrs ago. Not sure of your budget, but I was able to get myself into the mtb scene fully kitted for about R6k. Bike, shoes, bike rack(road bike always travels inside my car!), hydration pack (look at the Salomon range at CapeStorm) Of course if you're not cash strapped, then R10k will make life easy.. With a few minor upgrades, I've riden Karoo2Coast (100km), Hell & Back (120km 2days) and a few other races. You really don't need to throw big cash to be able to enjoy yourself on a mtb. It is worth while to spend a bit more on comfy shoes & a decent hydration pack, they should last you for ages. Not sure what area you live in, but if you can put up with loads of k@k, maybe join the Warthogs, they're always organising social rides in CT. http://www.warthogs.org.za/

Ok, so I missed the front of the bunch with the car showing the "Ladies" board.. Actually, I almost k@ked myself. I was sitting just off the road on the outside of the corner, nowhere near the racing line.. Until you shove a couple of cars & motorbikes & a rather large bunch into the corner. Hell, the one motorbike almost drove over my beach towel.
