Got the 3x10 XO in silver,looking super with my Ice Tec XT brakes. Loving them. Also using the silicon grips. Used them with my 3x9s. The supplied grips to hard for my liking but the unit looks awesome as a complete set. Barends can be fitted if the end caps are not fitted. It is cheaper in SA (Buycycle) than CRC or some shops in the US.

Did it 2years ago. Up and down,with a nice climb near the end to some kind of signal tower.with a long downhill on the other side. There was no singletrack. Dont know if they changed it. Think it was just over 1200m climbing.

Had the SRAM XO gripshift, Loved it. Now have new XT 10speed groupset, great brakes and shifting. I have a bit more chainslap with Shimano than SRAM.

The reason why I started this topic was because of youre group of 10 plus that cycled in Jonkers yesterday. There was only one guy that sweared at me and did not give way. I was the 2nd guy coming down middle Canary Path. The rest was friendly,gave way and was spread out quite a bit going up the singletrack. I worked hard to get to the top to fly down the singletrack. I stop for guys going down and even guys that want to past me going down and I'm not that slow. Maybe I must stick to Welvanpas where if you go counter-clockwise,you climb of if somebody come down the singletrack.

Who must stop for who? Always tough its the guys going down that have the right of way.
