  1. Got seeded in &. I'm one of the slow 30-39 cat riders, and have 0 desire to ride there, so will ride with my wife, much more worthwhile.
  2. Made a deal with my wife that if I can race this one then I will ride CTCT with her. Will see you in B if youbare there.
  3. Will keep you posted...
  4. Yes, that was me, hopefully I did my part trying to get a better time for the group. Was hoping the seeding would sort itself out, but I guess the only way to move up is to ask, which is a bit silly tbh.
  5. Just a personal story of how my pursuit of a better seeding went for the last year, which probably shows what is just not good enough to move up to A: 99er 2024 - Started in R due to no seeding - 2:54 alone effort CTCT 2024 - Started in 1B - 2:55 with 3 others that rode to the front of 1A DC 2024 - Ride with workmates, no effort to change seeding Winelands 2025 - Seeded in B, asked for reseed A, won A. Rode quite hard to get a good time, NP around 320. 99er 2025 - Seeded %, dropped back to A hoping for a faster group. Won A. Rode quite hard as well with NP close to 320W again. So to move up to A you need more than this I guess.
  6. To be fair, walking through the pub may have made someone rething their life choices, MacDonalds maybe next year?
  7. Hi Nicholas Thanks for the great work you are doing. If I may ask, what is the purpose of us men in the "%" category? As someone that want to get the most out of entering the event, wont it make more sense to just drop back to A or B, let the elite women do their thing and have fun with racing/riding in a bunch with similar goals/abiltiy and most likely get a better time?
  8. Got back into racing last year with the 99er, hoping to work my way up to some good Vets racing for some motivation to keep the training going, but seems like racing vets are just used as bunch fodder unless you are good enough to enjoy racing with the elites, which only a few are. I guess I only speak for a few, so not something that needs attention I guess.
  9. So which bunch this weekend is riding for seeding and not racing, asking for a friend...?
  10. Thanks, so basically Winelands A bunch, nice
  11. Is "%" racing women and Vets men or just the rest of the men that are not in $?
  12. Silly me asked to be moved from B to A for this race (based on actual results) to chase a better seeding, bit of a waste...
  13. Why fight in a ring when you can fight in a bar...
  14. Curious about this, do you have coffee late in the afternoon? I found that not drinking coffee after 1pm sorted the sleep issues out. Can race until 8pm, shower and then fall asleep around 9pm without any issues.
  15. The 7pm and 8pm races on Mywoosh is rather quiet, will be good to have a few more joining in๐Ÿ™‚
