  7. Hey for odd R15 to R18k for a carbon bike, this bike suites me like a glove Would love the Trek standing at the entrance of cycle lab but that is R40k.
  8. Very intresting to see this, I was planning on buying one of these bikes soon..... As long as their aftersales services is good, might still consider it.

  10. I have a Shimano 105 group set and done about 8 or 9000km's with it. What life time should get out of a group set and when is a good time to replace it. It has been maintained pretty well - regularly serviced and replaced the chain and rear cassette not to long ago
  11. Thanks for the all feed back. I have never been a great Raleigh fan myself but R15k-R17k for a carbon bike will change me feelings about their bikes
  12. Has anyone bought on the new Raleigh RC6000 or RC7000 carbon bikes and if so are you happy with it? I am wanting to upgrade to a carbon bike and found these two to be very good value for the price.

  14. Ok I have a few responses from people keen to form some groups riding along Hendrik Potgieter - We usually start at the Hub/Mr Price traffic lights on HP around 05h30 and go out, if you keen to join in and see if it meets your requirments, feel free to meet us there.
  15. thanks for the feed back, I also found riding in larger then 8 becomes an issue. If we can get enough people together we can make smaller groups at various paces and distances. Usually distance will be around 70km and upwards, if we can get 8 or more people together, we can try hit 100-130km's
  16. I am trying to gather some riders together to form a group and looking for comments on how big or small I should keep the group too. Looking ride in the West Rand, so starting on Hendrik Potgitier somewhere and out towards krugersdorp/magalies/maropeng. Maybe someone there already has a some groups that we can join with. Cheers
