  1. If i was racing and in line for the Yellow Jersey, I would not want to wear it. Would be to be scared of someone looking to shaft me for it.
  2. This statement is so complex on many levels as it is devoid of punctuation. In fact' date=' it is so obscure I don't have a freakin clue what you are on about[/quote'] Made a small typo - should have been don't lie - I just can't believe his team, sponsors and tour folks let him ride and lead since the 15th of July and 3 or 4 days from the end decide to drop him. Surely these clowns should have decided this before the race even started.
  3. Moral of the story - Dont lie if you planning to Win because someone wants to shaft you if make them look like ***!!! quinton2007-07-26 00:05:54
  4. I hope they cancel the Tour de **** next year, if they don't I think a circus should sue them - Plenty freekin Clowns and not even one single Tent!!!! My hopes has been on this dude since I saw him climbing those mountains a few tours back.......
  5. I wish i had a such a long story to tell about the Jock, my disasters started on Friday - - First got a cracked wind screen on the way there because of road works and trucks - Wife got a R500 fine just outside the Machadorp Toll gate - broke my rear hub on the bike within about 10 seconds of getting onto the bike Saturday morning and that was my race in it is @ss. Better luck next year
  6. Robbie jou Doring!!
  7. I have had the CS200cad since the beginning of the year and have not had any problems, Well one issue i just found; if you ride on two bikes you need the bike mount sensors on both bikes to save you from moving it over every time. The CAD and Speed sensor also uses thinner cable ties then the usual ones you get from the hardware store - luckily they had enough in the box to move it once I got mine from OR Tambo airport in the duty free electronics store.

  13. Hi I FLY, we ride the route almost every week end but we start at 7am on the corner of HP and Doreen and usually come back via Ondekkers.
  14. I have entered the race, but will be driving through in the morning. the race is relatively flat but you need to get some training in for the home stretch. The 2nd half of the race is a little boring.

  16. Wonduhboy I know some friends that are meeting at Grants Cycles at 8am Saturday and Sunday mornings. Usually 6am in the summer. They should do about 60-80km rides.

  18. Me training in Muldersdrift trying to blend in with the surroundings
  19. This article is really sad, I cycle this area every Saturday and Sunday and have never had any similar problems. I know the cycle lab clubs guys use the cradle for the regular training and possibly the sizes of the bunches could be causing a traffic issue. But if they want to target the cyclists in the area, what about the folks on the motorbikes flying through like it is a race track.... I think that is handle full of idiots that are most likely also the ones that never bother to say hi to the fellow riders out there causing this pain.
  20. Lets not label anyone without having proof!!! Maybe we should clean up our own backyard first....
