    4 of the Top 10 finishers in the Marathon results actually did the 40km ride and about 17 in the top 60. I crossed checked on Strava (some accounts were private so might be more) Yes there can only be one winner, but if you have suffered on the route you would like actual results! "Top 20" "Top 30" etc .

    Hi guys, Heading to Mcgregor for the long weekend with friends. Mtb is coming with. There are loads of strava segments & routes due to Cape Epic stage 1 + 2 being there & offcourse ride2nowhere race. My question is, are these routes open to ride? Obviously close any gate that might be closed but I don't want to upset any landowners. Any suggestions / advise would be appreciated .

    I can report back after our trip with Emirates that we payed f%#kol extra . 4 guys, 4 x bike bags , 4 x normal travel bags + a back pack each. Everything was within the weight limit of 23kg per bag. Cpt - Dubai - Bologna Bologna - Dabai - Cpt Cheers

    Yes it is clear, BUT..... it comes down to the lady at check in. It seems they don't really enforce it. Cardboard box = 221cm (nowhere close to 150cm) Evoc bag = 253cm

    Flying Emirates in 3 weeks. Four of us with our roadbikes ... would really suck if they charge us $250 each way. Cpt- Dubai - Italy.

    How long did it take you to finish the 75km? If a rider goes all out from start to finish a gel or two would come in handy. If you cruise around and smell the flowers you don't need anything.

    Possibly doing the trails (most of them) tomorrow with friends coming from Stellenbosch via Asara. Any route/ safety issues I should know about?

    Took the Levo for a spin this morning & it was brilliant!! Kept it on Eco (the low setting) except for one super steep 20% average grade climb a notched it up to trail- the middle setting. Total distance 17.6km with 550m ascent. My review: 1.) Very nimble on the singletracks!! 2.) You definitely still get a good work out. I am fit & my average heart rate(168 / Max 193) was higher than my usual morning rides. I did gun it up the climbs for "research" purposes though. 3.) There is no way you can cause damage to the trails in terms of "wheel spin" like you would on a Mx bike so stop comparing it to a "Ktm" or whatever! 4.) Will I buy one of I had the money... YES. It just opens up so many possibilities to have fun in a limited time. To all the haters.... go ride one

    That is correct, but even on a family plan one should only get 25% back on R4000 pm. I want 25% on the full R8k. Ok thanks. I am also Diamond status. Will email Discovery and give feedback.

    Hi StevieL, Can you please confirm when you get you 25% back that it is actually on the full amount of R8450 (So must be R2112.5 cash back). I ask because I just read this on Discovery's website.... "As a single member, you can get cash back on a maximum of R2 000 a month that you spend on HealthyGear. Your HealthyGear spend that you get cash back on is also limited to the number of Vitality points you have for the year "
