  1. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Great turn out!
  2. I am usually wary of dodgy spellers
  3. Ridden there in small groups of 2 or 3 and never felt safety was an issue! But as Pieter1 mentioned, the riding itself can be quite dangerous! People I know came across a guy having a heart attack in the valley once and apparently getting him out was a mission!
  4. You have a pink one for me? Definitely!! The more the merrier
  5. As heard on Grey's Anatomy on Monday! Nice and different! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTtPRTxgqlE
  6. So Mooky has convinced me to join her on our ROADIE bikes... Should be interesting! No bunny hopping pavements this time!
  7. Hope this works from mobile: http://m.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150778877569648.444802.595044647&type=1#!/media/set/?set=a.401346789906524.88387.133720393335833&type=1&__user=595044647
  8. Andrew said they would be posted on the USN website or FB page! Doesn't look like they're using waterpoint anymore! Go look at the USN FB page for some photos of the race!
  9. Glad Karma didn't find me then Not hard to miss though, pink everything and Dylan announced me coming in...
  10. Nope, was not I... Was in pink Saxo kit!
  11. Loved the 50km route! Really quick and some awesome singletrack! The merging was a slight pain, but the 30km guys were happy to move over and let me pass! Makes for pleasant racing! Loved the dry, dusty conditions! Everything you expect from winter races!
  12. Going to give it a try anyway! Keen to see this new single loop...
  13. Must admit, I don't carry any spares, tubes etc. with me when I race... but I ride tubeless and have never, touch wood, had to change a tyre! I'm pretty sure I'd manage if the need arose... I may just need to ask for spares from a passer by...
  14. Had a baby shower, but not missing the rest for the world!!!
  15. Believe it or not, that's good news to me! Everyone I spoke to told me Avid's are the best and I just couldn't see it!! Will be upgrading, soon!!! Thanks!
  16. I'd love it if noise was the only problem I have with them!! First the back went, after a month of having a new bike! Had them bled about 5 times! Eventually I found there was a fault in the mechanism of the lever?? Was sent to Cape Town to be repaired! Now the front has gone too! Basically, I can pull the lever all the way to the bar and feel nothing! Considering sending the front in now or just spending some money on decent brakes! Rode Maguras for 3 years with not one issue! Anyone else have similar issues? They're Elixir 3's!
  17. Sending my invoice now!!
  18. That's my better side anyway...
  19. Is that why he always wears a full face when we ride together???
  20. Not phased...
  21. Too true... now there's a pic of me on a hairy legs thread???
  22. Was stopping my Endomondo tracking at the finish, actually Back to the topic at hand... It would seem the only people defending the hairy legs are men, that should give you a good idea on ladies' preferences!!
  23. Need Mooky's back up...
  24. "Barbie .... we have fotographic evidence of you updating your facebook status on a ride and then wiping mud from your mouth. Your comment above is thus null and void." How so Hairy??
  25. yours are not hairy... I have photographic evidence!! Definitely a sexy factor! Nothing to do with cycling!! Not from my point of view!
