  1. Rather that than a commando appearance! I'm in for the ride, will try to convince the wife to come with to start the fire while we ride.
  2. Hey! I saw something today that made me think of this thread. There was a Jeep behind me at the traffic light with a KTM on the back. If it's strong enough for a motor bike, it'll be strong enough for yours. I didn't see the rack nicely though, but maybe this will help your search.
  3. I doubt you'll find a bike rack that will work. What car do you drive? If it's big enough, here's what you do: 1. Take off those bar-ends. 2. Drop the seat. 3. Turn the handlebars 90 degrees. 4. Open the back door of the car. 5. Reverse the bike onto the back seat. The front wheel goes on the floor behind the driver's seat. You may need to drive the bike up the door a little bit. Takes less time than a bike rack.
  4. That has got to be one of the worst physics engines in a Flash game EVER! I think I'll rather go try my luck on the Trials bike.
  5. If you bring a case of beer we won't care about pet food!
  6. I had a similar issue, which I may/may not have fixed today. I took off the entire drive train, cleaned everything properly, attempted to force some grease into the BB bearings and then reassembled. Did a ride and everything is fine, so it could have been a number of things. At least I know it's not the pedal bearings, since I didn't open them up at all.
  7. Well spotted, thanks! I fixed it.
  8. You can sign me up as a maybe. I almost didn't survive the last time, and I fear my fitness may be even worse this time around.
  9. I'd go for a custom set, Hope Pro II's with a tubeless rim. Maybe the Mavic 819 or a ZTR Flow.
  10. ? <SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-: EN-US; mso-fareast-: EN-US; mso-bidi-: AR-SA">All in the comfort of your living room???</SPAN> Nah, in the study. I'm not a bum, I don't just sit on the couch all day!
  11. Well, I heard back from Brian. Frame with Fox RP2 comes in at R7200. He has stock in Kyasands. Not too bad, although for an unproven brand it may still be a problem moving them.
  12. That's one of the worst animations I've seen in a while. Looks like it was done by a first-year graphic design student. Back on topic though: I don't know if the forks are any good, but I would go for the RST. I like supporting the underdog and I like having something different.
  13. I spotted a banner ad for Tank bikes on the Hub, decided to check it out. They look pretty cool, although I've never heard of them, and I can't find much online. This one in particular look purrrrty! http://www.tankcycles.co.za/images/tank-hone01_b.jpg Website: http://www.tankcycles.co.za/ So does anyone know anything about the brand?
  14. I was at Mike's last week while he was busy with one of those. Orange Truvativ Nior cranks, orange SRAM shifter, and orange brakes. Sexy like you can't beleive!
