  1. To be honest, I dont take anything away from Chorus, esp not 11spd, why dont you try both and see which you prefer. after all, its campagnolo, the performance would be identical.
  2. Have 11spd super record, also have 10 spd record on another bike. I had the first generation 11spd super record shifters and they werent as crisp as my 10spd ergo's. updated to the new 11spd and a big improvement. Nothing can take that crisp shifting from 10 spd record away. that feel is what I ride that bike for.
  3. Okay, FTP up by 14 watts. still think I could've done a bit better on the ride. TSS 544
  4. Chapeau
  5. Shimano 11spd freebody wont take a 11 spd campy cassette. You have to get a campy freehub
  6. Richie also rode one
  7. anyone traveling from JHB or Bloem that might have a space for a lady rider? PLEASE
  8. I dont know, but I'm gonna go with the same game plan
  9. From powercal data 213w for unfit, bit overweight 69kg Edit: 02:58.
  10. Not all bikes are built like a Santa Cruz
  11. Last night on the trainer, my right leg(on the inside) keep getting sore from pulling (I think) dont know if I'm doing to much on the trainer. I've been battling with this leg for a while now. come and goes.
  12. At least I'm getting stronger then? Will definitely do another test. My current FTP was taken from a 1h Criterium a long while ago, but then got injured and didnt adjust it down.
  13. Did both the 80 and 109, The road was tough the day after the MTB, but thats how one grows....so they say. The very first steep one suited me perfect, I died on the second one, I didn't have any power left in my legs by the time we reach that. Also on the downhills, it was quite a headwind and my sticks were battling. I would definitely do it again, both.
  14. Oltre is probly my most fav bike at the moment.
  15. Some of the last big prep this weekend.
  16. Will do FTP Test next week Tuesday and see, I'm a hond "poefie" timetrialist and dont expect to much from my FTP test. However, coming back to high IF. Most of my training is almost all out, almost everything on IDT. workouts per Andy Coggan's Training and racing with a powermeter. So all my workouts are based on FTP, so regardless of what your FTP is, you always gonna be in a specific zone relating to your FTP. Someone doing workout NP-W4 with a FTP of 210 and someone with a FTP of 280, will have exactly the same IF at the end of the workout. Doing these on the IDT doesnt really allow for much or any coasting to speak off. You suggested that my FTP is to high
  17. Rather go mechanical Campy like some others have said. No issues. If Nibali can ride it to win the Tour who am I to say its a no go. Giro: Campy EPS Tour: Campy RS Vuelta: .....time will tell.
  18. Guys, that part of the country only gets rain between 11 - 15 Aug, it can still get pretty wet!
  19. I would rather make cadence the constant, its a tad easier to control I reckon
  20. What you are trying to determine is quite tricky. This is solely your own responsibility to ride harder once the gradient goes up... My advice for you is to gear down(make it harder) and maintain the same cadence as your normal ride cadence(95-100), your watts will increase.
  21. That was my dream before last year, to ride down in daylight. The dream came true, it was awesome going down super fast and super risky, but heck I enjoyed it.
  22. As far as I understand, you need a someone to be registered as your back up, and they can only see you at CP5. park warm clothes for CP4, there should be enough food on the road, except at CP2. If you are worried that you might run out of light, rather ride with an headlight from the start and get your front light either at CP3/4. Also ride with some lube, it always helps a bit.
  23. What model ultravox is that? 2013? are you getting rid of your p2max?
  24. I'm 173 and currently on a 54cm Tarmac, its to big for me, horisontal top tube is almost 55cc.
