When I saw myself in the mirror and decided I need to my wife decided that I was to fat I went down to my LBS and bought a 2006 Reno. It was not exactly what I needed or wanted. Initially I wanted to lose weight and yes it suited me for a month or two. I would suggest that you go to your LBS and chat to them about your aspirations and let them assist in your choice that would be suited to the longer term.

I have to say that I am not to keen on shoes with laces and losing interest in the softer takkie type shoe as well from all the posts here.

Tghanks mate, will hunt one down as well. Left pedal doesnt even spin anymore and I just know that it will sieze up at the worst possible time and place.

Not sure what to look for in a shoe (besides my foot, which is in my mouth). The type of riding I do is generally sissy girl stuff that isnt too technical and can consist of plenty of walking. I enjoy the endurance stuff and plan on doing a few more TransB's still. My Sportmans Worehouse Olympics are stuffed.......had then since I started riding almost two years ago. All advice, slagging and jokes will be welcome but would also appreciate any technical info on how one actually selects the right shoe.

I hear you and I am sure we all do. Dirty Twin and I have reported on two occasions and nothing. we followed up and the prosecutor must have thought the cases were way to insignificant to waste anyones time. the difference is that we are here talking about it and Chris isnt. So what do we do next...................
