  8. I did a test cut I am very happy with the end result. have a looksy. First removed brake fluid. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1047.jpg Clamped the hose to my work bench. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1050.jpg Pressed the blade into the hose so it would stay in place. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1051.jpg And hammer time http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1052.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1053.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1054.jpg That was the test cut. Now I will cut it to the correct size.
  9. Ok I am very impatient. So looked at the Sram Hose cutters and noticed that it makes use of stanley blades. I am going to take my stanley knife with a new blade to the the hoses. Fingers crossed for straight clean cut.

  12. Yoh! Lekker day to day. But we are definitely not what I would call efficient. We did plenty of eating, talking, more talking and very little building. Any one that may be interested, there will be a brand new Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2.35 Tyre available for sale soon. Jr feels it is too wide and is changing to 2.25 nobby nic. We had time to install shifters and brakes but the caliper adapters provided with our brakes are for IS and not for Post mount like we need. Some pics of our progress. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1043.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_1044.jpg Cheers

  14. Today was family day and could not spend time with my new awesomeness. Also found out that my Headset Press Tool is out dated. Ran by Mark @ Crown who whipped out his OMG PARK TOOL HHP-2!! Mark sorted out the the headset and BB issue for me one time. Mark is also good at guilt trips . Park Tool HHP-2 wish listed. AHA...will make a awesome Christmas gift for my wife. Park tool HHP-2 moved to basket. I wish. As you can see all I did was fit the fork, cranks and rims just to give us something to perv over so long. Bryan aka Jr will be joining me tomorrow for a mother of a day. Drinking cappuccino , speaking foreign and buidling mofo machine beasts. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/IMG_0930.jpg
