  1. I am not falling for the "free spur burger" line ever again.
  2. Stay focused or the ground will swallow you.
  3. Its a 26er. That exact bike was sold brand new by my lbs for 15-18k. Reba fork and x9 x0 mix. Edit.. Not that exact bike. But same model different spec.
  4. Have not done it yet. But will eventually give it a try. 2012 s-works
  5. or consider one of these. http://p.vitalmtb.com/photos/users/109/photos/41635/s780_WHAT_THE_Santa_Cruz_V10_Fat_Bike.jpg?1346253540
  6. Why don't you check if your current 26er farme can take 650b wheels. If it does, then fit 650b to your current bike and see if you like it. This way you don't have to drop a whole lot of cash into a new bike. After some research I found that 650b will fit my Epic. Going to give it a try some time in the future. Tried a 29er hard tail and it was not for me personally. Climbed lekker up the tech single track. Definitely less effort required than when on my 26er. Did not enjoy the 29er as much as my 26er when coming down the single track. That being said, I am an average rider. Good riders can do amazing things with any wheel size.
  7. Mechanic thought it was a Manitou.
  8. You do not have to look far for wisdom. Google + research = not getting shafted.
  9. Also take note, front brake hose on the inside of the fork.
  10. 3k four years ago.. Four years ago, he could have purchased a quality entry level bike @ 6k. For 3k he should have looked at getting a 2nd hand GT hard tail or something similar.
  11. I will never get to attend a wheel building class. But on the bright side at least I own a Johan built wheel.. The man is a MASTER PERFECTIONIST!! (not many of these types around). 0 South Africa - 1 Scotland Johan, enjoy your new home and fly fishing for salmon!

  16. My less than 6 month old Forerunner 910xt fogs up. According to Garmin it is normal. I do not swim so it is mostly used for a bit of running a cycling. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x309/AhRO_bucket/20130929_094118_zps2d0d23f5.jpg Below: What gamin has to say. 09/26/2013 It is often assumed that water resistant devices do not have humidity in them, though this is often not the case. Garmin, like many companies, creates devices with a level of humidity that is most conducive to manufacturing and overall device performance. As a result, all electronic devices, not just devices made by Garmin, can experience temporary condensation, moisture or fogging inside the device when you transition to an environment with a significantly different temperature. To decrease the chances of this occurring with your device, make the transition in temperature as gradual as possible. If condensation occurs, move to a warmer environment to promote evaporation. If the moisture does not go away, there are dried water spots on the inside of the glass or there are visible puddles of water (more than beads of condensation) visible in the device it is possible the seals that provide water resistance have failed. Being mindful of the signs of water ingress and the signs of natural condensation will help you determine if the device may need to be repaired.
