  1. Very well done Milky! In these conditions, BEEEG RESPECT
  2. Nice to every now and then, just have a "lekke" race, no sufferfest, Kilimanjaru climbs, Grand Canyon like rutted downhills etc etc, net n kwaai enetjie ek sĂȘ :-)
  3. Fantastic race! Route allowed "Flying Mode" to be activated on the U-turn, with a tail wind at moments, BLISS!
  4. You've already lost your money, I want to finish in 8hours....this is the 100miler forum, right? :-)
  5. Its a life long debate to say the least,...it frustrates even us as paid up members, cos if you think about it, the results shown dont reflect the truth, as you might be in the top ten on Racetec but in reality 15 entrants that are not PPA members could've done a better time than you,...
  6. You somehow have luck on your side, because for all local Fun rides, it clearly states on the website that only paid up members of the PPA will have their results shown on Racetec, the Argus tour is a completely different story as you have people from all around the country and world taking part that obviously cannot be PPA members, same with the Knysna Oyster festival, but in these cases, if you dont have a transponder you wont have your time.
  7. If he wins it, which he probably wont, (cos Swart Kat will win), it can only be by time as he will be starting at the back of the group, in which case it wont reflect on the results as only paid up PPA members times are shown on Racetec
  8. Thats rough, I know my limits!
  9. Give that man a Bells!
  10. To late to discuss training hours per week needed hehe #balls to the wall now#sufferfest for all#LETS GO!!!

  12. If you dont go you'll never know
  13. Awesome! Cant wait :-)
  14. Doesnt sound right, could be your battery starting to pack up, but as the "wiseable wisdoms" of the Hub would say,..."Go and let your ticker be checked"
  15. Looks good to me.. http://www.kwathabeng.co.za/weather/hex-river-valley-weather.html
  16. 35 and 55 go through tunnel, although the 55 is not a toughy, I'd recommend the 35 for a newbie
  17. http://www.pedalpower.org.za/index.php/event/4644/
  18. Sunrise recovery ride to Meerendal
  19. I noticed your Strava account inactivity level :-)
  20. Haha! nooit, podiums are for the young and restless, If podium could just consist of the first 20 positions, I'd go for it ;-) all the best for that crazy distance race, you'll do well, every thought of your baby will renew your will to finish strong
  21. On a hardtail, 1) a bit of ''give" or Flex 2) slight vibration dampening. On a dual I have found it not needed at all besides weight gain
  22. Atleast I know I'll be in two positions better at the Hex with you and Milky not there haha! Enjoy, I dont have the guts for this one yet
  23. You are watching your daughter, you should not feel like missing anything at that point.
