  1. Firstly loosen the cable at the rear completely and spin the cranks. If it does go into the smalles gear you know it is your cable. If not it can only be your limit screws or your hanger.
  2. Have you got BB386EVO for shimano 24mm cranks?
  3. Get yourself the skitch bars. I would suggest the new ones as they can be taken off easily if you would like to use the bin for something else and put them back on again. The older version is a pain to get on and not worth the hassle to try and take off and on if you would like to use the bin again.
  4. Fiets is terug gegee aan eienaar. Baie dankie Sarel dat jy die fiets terug gekry het. Die dame was gelukkig nie seer gemaak nie net selfoon en fiets gevat.
  5. Any possibility for these https://www.evobikes.co.za/apparel/helmets/salice-chrono-tt-helmet-with-visor-5833.html
  6. Just found out it is not CSA sanctioned unfortunately.
  7. If I were you I would change the cable completely. This happened once on my STI and it was busy fraying on the inside. so not completely off. STI was also stuck and when i got it to work again the cable snapped completely. So before a tour replace the inner and outer cables.
  8. Also try it the other way around. Disable any HR Straps and try again. My Edge 500 did the same if a HR strap was linked to the device. Dont just remove the strap from your body but disable it on the Edge 500.
  9. Interesting to read all the comments. My 2c worth. Someone here stated that they read the document and that she was 6months pregnant at the hearing (3months at the time of testing) if I read the report correct. That would make her 12months pregnant at the moment as she is only due in April as far as I know?? Secondly she was retired from international racing mid year. This report posted on 7th August 2017 still stated that her goals was Amashova and 947. So she intended to race for Bestmed for the remainder of the year. http://teambestmed.co.za/a-year-of-change-for-an-li-kachelhoffer/ Checking your medication is the athletes own responsibility. It takes less than 10sec on the online app. http://www.drugfreesport.org.za/online-medication-check/
  10. Mine did the same once when I used Stages. I did a Hard reset on mine and all was fixed. To perform a hard reset on the unit. Remove battery and touch the side of the battery to the two contacts, one being on the side of the battery compartment and the second being the brass circular piece that sits under the battery After performing one of these actions and re-installing a good battery, attempt connection again through your head unit or the StagesPower app. If you are able to connect to the StagesPower app, please stay connected long enough to check for a firmware update. If one is available, it will notify you within the app to update the power meter.
  11. I am not really sure that we were all in the same race here. The leading lady was stopped twice to a halt after breaking away from the bunch on the two main climbs due to people pushing barriers into the road, fighting among each other and throwing stones. Two taxis stopped in the middle of the road blocking her once again after TJ. There was no lead vehicle for them after Wonderboom and the motorbike also disappeared after TJ to clear and show the way. The marshals did the best they could but unfortunately the "race" was still not safe. Also heard that someone was pushed off their bike by a barrier being thrown at them. We are just relieved that all of them are safe and not hurt. Then having to wait 3 hours for prize giving was just ridiculous. Why cant they get it right and make it 30min after the last registered group finished. Please don't get me wrong. I am not complaining about the outcome of the race but merely the safety aspect of it. Yzette deserved this win she worked hard and did an incredible job on the day.
  12. As far as I know they are busy with the iOS app. But yes I think Apple users might wait a while for this.
  13. Download the CSA app to your phone and log in. You can see your Membership and Licence details there. Just take a screen shot and sent it to your friend. They changed their whole system for 2017. At least that was the answer given to me by CSA
  14. Anyone know if there is a secure bike park at the expo. Can I ride there with my bike or rather not.
  15. Mmm see that... route would be interesting then. Although I would have loved that route.
  16. Think the route will be Clarens - Fouriesburg - Bethlehem - Kestel - Phuthaditjhaba - Golden Gate - Clarens
  17. I am going to have one more say on this topic. This is not about being happy or unhappy with team selection; I wish them best of luck. It is however about fair and unfair. About having systems and criteria in place which is made known to the riders well in advance. It is about transparency in the selection process which will hopefully restore the faith of younger riders in our sport. It is about a governing body protecting themselves but not their own. I am stepping down from this topic now.
  18. The process forward. What process is that you are referring to? How can facts be one sided? You have your opinions and I have mine.
  19. Not looking after your future riders and living in the "now" is a very bad thing and that is exactly why CSA women's cycling is where it is. I would hardly call someone like Heidi inexperienced. She has more than enough experience.
  20. Please do yourself a favour and read Stuart's reply to that and maybe it will make sence as to why everyone is upset about this.
  21. Yes ok two of them. dont even going to go into that one.... So we have two future stars that needs to represent SA in the future.
  22. On the age thing I was refering to up and comming riders for the future. CSA wants to bring riders promote womens cycling yet where are the future stars of our sport? Yes they are indeed and with that they are loosing points and a bucket load of it because Ashleigh won it last time round. So they need to make up for that. Now we are standing the chance of losing a spot for olimpics and that might be just the case. No the ladies dont know the selection criteria and that is where CSA goes wrong. They were never informed as to what the selection criteria was.
  23. I know that Ashleigh was not available for selection. I also know that SA's was not the selection criteria for this. And I also know why CSA has waited till this am to release the team (they are flying tonight). This is exactly why in the top 10 at SA's there is only 1 girl under the age of 28. Where is the young girls in road cycling? All of them is going to MTB because of this type of politics in road cycling. What about Heidi Dalton, Carla Oberholzer, Charlene du Preez
