I couldn't figure out how to cast from my Samsung. Ended up getting an Android box. The LG however can do it (Stretch got it right) not sure about any other phones....

I am assuming that they are covering downloading and streaming with the same set of handcuffs here...? FilmonTV is free and apparently all legal. All you need is a valid TV license (Well in the UK at least)

Keyboard went back to Takealot this week. Payment was refunded in full I fiddled around with a Bluetooth dongle and the keyboard for the whole weekend trying to get it to work. When you plug the Bluetooth dongle in and download a Bluetooth short cut app (You need the app to access the Bluetooth setting) you can see the switch but you can't turn it on I ended up sending it back and just ordered a 2,4Ghz Rii from China. Takealot used to have them but they are no longer available. Even the generic ones are out of stock... The wait begins....

Just some feedback on the M7 from the M4 to Pinetown. Checked on the drive home today. Keep right and stay in the middle and you should be fine. No big holes but a few cracks on the concrete section up yo the N2 bridge. Have a good ride! Edit: No big holes in the right lane.... Mahoooosive holes in the centre lane with exposed re-bar and big cracks in the left lane with some crumbling concrete. Hopefully the road repairs will be finished by race day [emoji106] Will be at the top of the M7 climb under the bridge cheering you guys on!

I drive that road every day. Stay on the right but keep your eyes on the road ahead as there are still a few holes about... Seen that stretch of road from South Coast Road to the N2 bridge eat more than it's fair share of tyres [emoji15]

Nothing inside the nifty little storage compartment... that's when I got that sinking feeling. Opened it up and it was empty. Will see if I can find a dongle this weekend and try it.

Epic fail... my keyboard arrived today. I ordered the Bluetooth version and my box doesn't have Bluetooth....[emoji24] anybody want to swap for a 2.4Ghz version? Alternatively it's for sale. R500 postage included. Brand new

There are a few sites around that facilitate the sharing of such information..... The files are usually available for download within 24hrs of broadcast. Well at least that is what I have heard..... Probably a lot easier than trying to set up a PVR function within Kodi from the sounds of things

Ai... don't say that.... My TV Box remote loses connection every now and again... that's the reason for getting the keyboard. Tested a full size keyboard for the last week and it works when the remote doesn't. Would have kept it but it is a bit bulky and lacking the media functions.

Looks very similar though... My TV Box remote is a bit temperamental... I have a Microsoft Wireless keyboard plugged in at the moment and that is working but just a bit on the big side.

I added Exodus last night as well as the Metal Kettle and the Turks addons (after reading good reviews online) Streamed a bit of BBC Two last night watching a documentary about the Aussie coastline. Also started streaming Deadpool and saw that the new Superman vs Batman movie was available to stream as well. Now just to figure out the EPG....

Just an observation... there is a lot of comment regarding the "moving of the goalposts". Making it harder to get points (the new structure still makes it achievable you just need to work harder). Had it gone the other way, IOW points targets too high in the beginning and people finding it too hard to hit their targets so Disco made it easier to get to your individual goal, would there still be so many complaints? Doubt it......

I was the same Stretch. I had it on my phone but my primary media device at home was the WD TV live and couldn't get Kodi on there. I was using Kodi to half ass stream live sport and play some HEVC movies because nothing else would play them. I started reading this thread and it was all gibberish. Did some research because the WD was giving problems and went the Android box route which came with Kodi installed. Well that was my cue to figure it out. I went back and re-read this thread and it all made sense now... I can't comment on the ROKU but I am very happy with what I have been able to accomplish withbthe MXQ so far. Really enjoying getting things to work as well!

I am thoroughly enjoying this thread. My only issue is that all of these little gems of info that are getting posted here are going to get lost in all the info and posts that are coming and I am sure will be coming...
