  1. They did the same with the Rii wireless keyboard..... there one day, gone the next.....
  2. Dankie Meneer Comments above in red
  3. I am really starting to like the idea of woodwork. Always been a steel work person up until recently when I built a dog box (Yeah yuck it up all you Gipettos out there but you gotta start somewhere...) There is just something non Philistine about woodworking... I have a few ideas that I want to do in wood but haven't got the foggiest idea where to get descent timber from. My most recent project was a headboard which ended up being made of stained pine as none of the timber merchants that I phoned in the greater Pinetown/Westmead area bothered to call me back with pricing.... For the time being I own a Skill Saw, an orbital sander (The rectangular one), an electric plane and a jigsaw. would like to add a router to that and that should do me for the time being. Looking to make a display type case for my wife next... Might just cut my teeth on pine again and colour wash it for the Shabby Chic look.....
  4. HORRY SHET!!! Gautengers be like "we can use the mine dumps as landing ramps.... I wonder if the mine shaft lift tower towers will work for a roll in...."
  5. Which could return shocking results...
  6. So am I. Turned out to be a Champion idea....
  7. I doubt he came up with that idea himself. Odds are he was given a lead...
  8. Brakpan Wheelnuts
  9. Take your time reading through that one. LOTS of bling!!! I would love to know what he spent on that build.....
  10. If you are a member of the Wild Dogs forum, there is a thread where a guy that is doing one of those CR500 conversions. His workmanship and attention to detail is unbelieveable
  11. Let Gummi posts his bike room pic and then we can close this thread....
  12. Sounds about right. Go have a look at the "Let me introduce you to KODI" thread. Loads of info and how to's over there ????
  13. I couldn't figure out how to cast from my Samsung. Ended up getting an Android box. The LG however can do it (Stretch got it right) not sure about any other phones....
  14. I am assuming that they are covering downloading and streaming with the same set of handcuffs here...? FilmonTV is free and apparently all legal. All you need is a valid TV license (Well in the UK at least)
  15. Just some feedback on the M7 from the M4 to Pinetown. Checked on the drive home today. Keep right and stay in the middle and you should be fine. No big holes but a few cracks on the concrete section up yo the N2 bridge. Have a good ride! Edit: No big holes in the right lane.... Mahoooosive holes in the centre lane with exposed re-bar and big cracks in the left lane with some crumbling concrete. Hopefully the road repairs will be finished by race day [emoji106] Will be at the top of the M7 climb under the bridge cheering you guys on!
  16. I drive that road every day. Stay on the right but keep your eyes on the road ahead as there are still a few holes about... Seen that stretch of road from South Coast Road to the N2 bridge eat more than it's fair share of tyres [emoji15]
  17. I would walk away from that bike driven by nothing other than their ad campaign leading up to the launch....
  18. Just an observation... there is a lot of comment regarding the "moving of the goalposts". Making it harder to get points (the new structure still makes it achievable you just need to work harder). Had it gone the other way, IOW points targets too high in the beginning and people finding it too hard to hit their targets so Disco made it easier to get to your individual goal, would there still be so many complaints? Doubt it......
  19. Recording it as a single activity though would lower the average heart rate and therefore potentially allocate a lower points value no? You only going to get points for the highest value allocated for the day anyway...
  20. Thanks so one event per day then Edit: So if I hit the gym and hit my 10 000 step target in the same day, I'll only get 100 points for the day?
  21. A question about points allocation.... If for example you go and do a park run with your heart rate monitor attached... The points available are 300 points for the park run, 100 activity points for the heart rate recorded on the run. You then stop off at the gym on your way home to smash an abs session and get another 100 points for the swipe. From a Vitality perspective you only get the highest point count allocation (the 300 for park run) From an active rewards perspective, do the same rules apply or will you get all the points earned in that day accumulated towards your weekly goal (ie 500 points)...?
  22. Also tried the Peanut Butter Bomb. Nice smoothie! I made a mistake and had a look to see how many calories it was....... 840kcal!! I had it with my lunch.... Besides that, the effort put in to redeem the reward far exceeded the actual pleasure of the reward so from now on the rewards will only be redeemed if the stars align and I happen to have a reward and I am going past a Kauai or Vida...
  23. I signed up for the rewards program simply because I got tired of the "nagging" from Discovery and realized that I was flushing away points every week. Score a few smoothies but TBH it is a schlep to collect the rewards. There are no Vida's and Kauai's near where I work so most rewards expire. What is grating my cheese at the moment is that I am unable to link my GC account to my Vitality profile... I log into the App, click on Add device/App and click Garmin device. It then asks for permission etc.... I click allow and I get a message saying "Could not get the user object from the device site" ?!?!? That's all that happens... Am I missing something? GC App installed on the phone. S Health connected no issues.
